LOL the creek looks to be a foot deep he could have puss'ed it across. He put it to the bars...lol

God are we awesome at completely getting off topic! Always happens when the junkies get tight. LOL

Plan A it is as far as my skis. I put the RFI pump`back on with smaller nozzles and get 56mph at 7350. No miss, it just shut down once. There is still a connection issue in there somewhere but today felt pretty good. I can see the footage now of me coming up behind 95HX.

Last call for any parts! I'm packing up now till I leave in the morning early. I'm bringing spare X4 stuff for me and Nam's little parts so far. The darn heater core just went out in my truck so I bypassed it and will pack a blanket.

lol. i'm not bringing any spares except a few tools, some zip ties, a gallon of oil and a 12 pack of beer :)

12 pack? Hopefully that's just for your Friday night. This is nothing I want to perform on a dry stomach.

12 should get me thru most, i'm more of a 4 beers then a nap kind of guy, but i've had my moments....

i'm trying to avoid the problem i had during the Mt Dora trip, had about 8 beers the night before the races, and napped on the couch thru all but the last 3 heats the next day. Missed dennis's race and everything :(

Good point. I'm a little out of practice on my beer drinking so I'm looking forward to it. I'm thinking it's like riding a bike.

Saturday looks alright 74, what the hell am I saying, 68 degrees tomorrow. If its that here i will be outside with an ice cold beer, opening my pool and grilling up steaks, while im running through the sprinkler with ac on in my house.

Its 30 here

Today was 44 and windy as hell in the lake. The neighbors must think I'm crazy.

Well I think I'm packed up. I'm bringing my brother Brad after picking him up in G'ville. Can't wait to meet and ride with you gents(I know I've said that a time or two on this thread but I'm excited).

I'm serious about a little tuning on the beach. I'm starting with my buoy appropriate pump geared low. However it only takes me a few minutes to swap pumps so I could give up some bottom end to gain 4mph up top. I brought stick on lifter wedges but will wait to get some of your opinions on where to put them since it only takes a second.

i was just gonna comment on the weather, just took the dogs out, with the wind, it feels about like 10 degrees cooler than it was yesterday :(

Heck yeah. I'm very much looking forward to taking in some of your racing experience. The next time I pack up a couple skis it will be to head to a less friendly place. I expect it to be full of racers who aim to wip me not help me.

if someone doesn't mind, could someone find the correct stock setting (or send me the link and i'll print it) for the carbs for a 1996 gsx 787 and show me how to set it tomorrow as well as cleaning the needles and such.

question: are all 787 models adjusted differently, like xp, gtx, gsx? or same?

is this what I should be looking at?

http://www.seadoosource.com/carbreference.html

does that mean high should be completely closed?

already have the carbs packed in the truck, real excited for tomorrow!

thanks guys!

Thats all you need man...although a couple are not what the service manual has in it; typos.

And Matt...you will be surprised on how helpful racers are. Maybe not on the line, but in the pits. Everyone wants to see a full line.

6 of us are here, waiting on 2 more tonight, had 1 short cold ride maybe 12 miles this afternoon.
be ready to ride in the morning !
