Well Dennis and Otis, I sur is glad ya'll convinced me to take the skis to the dealer and have that there de-winterizin dun by a speculist. I pulls into the dealer and there was 2 guys at the service desk. I tells em I needed that there de-winterizin. Well one feller looks at the other and winks at em and tells me I is in luck cause the de-winterizin speculist just got back from lunck break. So that speculist feller comes a out to the parkin lot and pulls the covers off the skis. Now here was my first lesson. ya see I always take the covers off the back first but the speculist feller started in the front. I tells the feller it's easier from the back first and he a whispers to me real quiet like that this is one of the most important things when de-winterin, to take the cover off from the front so all that cold winter air don't get trapped around the enjun. Then he opens em up and hooks up the batteries. Now he didn't just use no regular wrench. He had this here wrench that looked just like mine but it had this red dot a painted right on the handle. I asked the speculist bouts that red dot and he said that shows its a special de-winterizing wrench and they cost bouts $1,000. I abouts fell over right there in the parkin lot. Anyhow the feller gits the batteries hooked up and says "ok, you is de-winterized and ready to go". I took them skis to the lake and they never run so good. That there was the best $500 I ever spent. And I was a lucky ta have 2 skis cause the feller at the service desk said the normal prices is $200 fer a ski but he would give me a special discount of $500 fer the 2 skis. So I figure I saved bouts $200.
