I am selling (longblock) 2004 Mercury Sportjet 240 hp Engine with low hours. See pictures below. Needs cylinders honed & new rings. The crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods ARE INCLUDED. I have attached a picture of what was purchased to replace this. Please ask any questions you may have. I am located in Charleston, WV and we could meet somewhere within 100 miles for a small fee. It has been owned by us since 2014 with 1 previous owner. There is NOTHING wrong with it. It just needs the Mercury recommended 400 hour maintenance performed which is rings and cylinders honed. Compression was 125 on 5 cylinders and 118 on one cylinder. A broken reed was also found during the engine pull.
