I've got a new flash, SDB might want to pick this up for his news network. The Italian cruise liner that ran aground, the ship didn't hit an uncharted reef as earlier suspected. A team of deep sea divers have discovered the object that the ship actually hit. It turns out the object was a 1972 Oldsmobile 98, upon further inspection the automobile had a Mass. license plate registered to a Mr. Theodore Kennedy.

Speculation is that the gulf stream had somehow picked up the automobile off the coast of Massachusetts and over the course of several years carried it to Italy directly in the path of the cruise ship.

New 2-stroke

I just bought a brand new 2-stroke today. I bought this at Harbor Freight for 89.00. Here's the plan: gonna build the first 2-stroke Hy-Brid SeaDoo.

I plan on removing the Rotax engine, replace it with an electric motor. Replace the fuel tank and use the front hatch are for batteries, use this generator to power a battery charger to keep the batteries charged.

What do you guys think?

wellllll.... thats as good of an idea as my trailer winch.... not getting into that here, but your idea, really isnt bad; IF, you could get a motor, and that harbor freight has some serious high torque quick start high rpm motors.... submersible or ones that can take exposure to water may help, i would be more concerned with the voltage path since most of those motors are AC, although DC can be more powerful in some instances.

but, hey, why not? go for it! if you were down here, i would help ya give it a try! heck, how do you think so many of these hybrids/alternate fuel vehicles started out?? usually college kids and home do it your selfers, tinkering around.

so your idea is just as good. the jet pumps are direct drive off the rotax shaft anyway, right? so... why not an electric motor?

I think he staged his own kidnapping to collect the ransom from hisself.The real mystery here is OCOD. Just who is this international man of mystery??? But I think he might have something going on with me wife. The other night I was puttin the boat in the water (so to speak) (you guys missed that one on the earlier post) and the wife start a moanin and sounded likes she was saying OCOD, OCOD. So I is gonna be keepin an eye on the OCOD feller.

Ya know, I've been pondering the situation with Tater Salad for a while now, I'm thinking that Tater Salad is SDB's alter ego.

It's all starting to add up, Tater Salad lists his location as FL, right in his profile SDB says he spends time in Florida, coincidence, I don't think so. I think posing as Tater Salad, SDB can act out his wanting to be a Southerner, with out admitting that he lives above the Mason-Dixon line. The more I think about it the more it makes sense.
