I'd go for the free fuel. With the fuel being free ,the missus wont have to walk funny anymore.you can drive her.She may get bored getting driven all the time though. If she gets bored ,you could start driving the other fella. You get the best of both worlds. You get free fuel and the missus gets her whole board from the renter

I want to thank everyone who has tried to help but I think Jake has the best advice. Jake has the ability to see the big picture where we don't.

Yur rite Jake....I am the man in this house and what needs to be done just needs to be done. So I set the two of them down and TOLD them about how we wuz a gonna switch around in the beds for the sake of the new yungin'. You was rite Jake. They didn't take to it well at first. Both of them jest set there lookin' all stunned. Then they looked at each other, started a smilin' and agreed that it would be best and that we shouldn't take a chance of any qweerin' goin' on. Heck, the two of them were bein' so selfless that they even insisted that we all switch beds rite away so as to be used to it by the time the yungin' arrives! Watchin' the two of them make sacrifices for the yungins sake and then smilin' bout it made me all misty-eyed. I'm ashamed of myself fur even thinkin' of askin' that fine feller to put gas in my truck.
Anyways, I was takin' the truck to town this mornin' to put more gas in it and noticed the clutch wuz feelin' all funny and that second gear wuz broke in the tranny. I got to Skeeters garage and he noticed the rear tars wuz plum wore off.
Oh well, looks like all the money I'll be savin' on a yungin' sitter is a gonna be spent on the truck. Ifin it ain't one thing it's another.

Thanks agin!

Dennis, glad we could help out with yur predikermint. That is a fine woman you got there. I know cuz I forgit to mention that I was down yur way about 3 months ago visitin sum kin and I met yur wife over at the walmart, she was just the sweetest thing and offered to show me around the town. If yer having touble comin up with a name fer the youngin fell free to call him lil Jake.

Now that's rite nice of you Jake but it ain't gonna to be up to me. The misses has been talkin' bout namin' him Youngfeller. Sounds kinda upity to me ........... you know like Rockefeller. I'll let her know that you wuz thinkin' bout her and a name fur the yungin'. I don't want to make her fret though. Every time we go into town and run into fellers that we know she gets all confused lookin' and starts countin' on her fingers tryin' to cum up with different names for the yungin'. She jest cain't seem to be able to make up her mind which one would best.

well all the best to ya Dennis. Since this is yer first youngin I'm sur ya'll will have lots more questions. and it sure is good to hear that yur misses is so friendly with all the young fellers in town, that way if she has to go off to town by herself ya can be sure those fellers will be looking after her n ya won't have ta worry bout her being safe.

Yea it's cumfortin' to know that the misses will be in good hands where ever she goes. Yor rite again.... thars all kinds of things about this yungin' I dont know. I'll be sur to keep y'all informed on me, the misses, yungin' and young feller. It's good to know that thars people like you that I can ask kwestions to.
Sorry I missed you when you were in town. The misses didn't let on nun that yous was here. She probably forgot. She's been real forgetful like ever since young feller came to stay. Must be the stress an all.

Hey Jake and Criss,

I guess we've been shut down on the other threads, but hey we still got our own thread. I kinda agree with Dr Honda, we need to lead by example. I got pissed the other day when I had to sift through 10 or more replies to find a question, so I now see his point. I like to think that I have moved on since High School.

We still got this thread to talk about important things, life changing things, politics, the economy, NASCAR, family, drinkin, Ma, Pa, Sis, etc. You know there is life outside SeaDoo's. Anyway lets not let this thread die, just because we've hit a bump in the road, lets stay friends and mates.

Something happened here today that was funny, my wife who was originally from Mass., we met at U.K. (University of Kentucky), anyway she made the remark at lunch today, "he's a'commin and a'goin", I couldn't believe it, unlike me she doesn't butcher the English language, so I guess she has lost all of her roots, she's now a true Kentuckian. I've already converted her from a yellow dog democrat to a conservative republican.

To Lou and Jake.
Mate .It was only a small bump and mates we will always be.We know what constitutes a correct answer.I'm not upset and won't lose sleep.my hide is pretty thick. Now we can sit and have a laugh. There is always little problems in life and thats where J n L comes in.
The 3 friggin' Amigo's:thumbsup:

To Jake and Lou and anyone that reads this.
The guys on this site are a rare breed. They sit down, read peoples problems, think to themselves,"that happened to me".Through past problems, they have come up with a really good suggestion or an answer to the problem. This is because they want to.Nobody is getting paid.Nobody is getting told to do this. They,I ,we do this because we want to.Myself? I read this forum and learn something new every day.It may never help me because of the type of ski I have. But If I remember it,see a guy with a problem and I can help him/her get the toy back on the water,I am happy.I had problems and mud turned to shit.Guess where I got help.Here.
In Australia most things cost a heap more.(skiis, parts etc.)I saved a hell of a lot of money because of the guys on this site. What I got out of the whole rebuild, change to premix(which I did not do) thing, was a ski that goes like a cat shot in the bum,and some really good mates.I learnt that experience cannot be taught.
Or.You do not look a gift horse in the mouth
I am not sorry if my oz sense of humour or my sayings have offended anyone.Nobody told me.me bad.We all have different saying about everything. You get that. Some stuff you say may offend me!(not bloody likely, but I had to say it)Haha But hey.You get my drift.
To my Cousins,Mates,Geez,Even My Doc,There is always a cold beer at my place for you guys:cheers:

What I have learned today......................

I have to admit that I got this from SDB, via my brother Jake. Speaking about SeaDoo dealerships "the more they do, the more it will cost you"*

It must be the old profit game, guess your weight and win some free crap. Words of wisdom indeed, I feel truly inspired.

YUP, just like car dealerships.

Sir, we recommend our 25,000 mile - 15 point check up..only $49.95. it might save your engine from blowing up.
ME...ok what's included.
Dealer - we check tire air pressure, all hoses, radiator pressure, AF, oil, Windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, trans fluid, a/c hoses, air filter, battery cables, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, back up lights.
Me - it takes me about about 10 minutes to check all that. You charge $50 for it. Your sign says you charge $87.50 per shop hour. So I'll pay 1/6 of that....$14.59.
dealer - Sir, we can't do it for that.
ME - OK. I'll skip it. BTW....how does a burned out bulb blow up your engine
Dealer - Thank you sir have a good day
ME - I will I just saved $50.

I happen to work for a car dealership, I'm not in sales I'm the IT Director. We are new car dealers for Cadillac, Saab, Volvo and Subaru and also sell used cars. We also service all cars we sell.

Not all dealerships are crooks, like you believe. There are other costs that you have overlooked, specialized equipment, specialized training, insurance, taxes, employee insurance, overhead, interest on inventory, parts inventory, tools, shop equipment, maintenance, utilities, salary, commissions, and a whole list of other things.

In this country it's O.K. to make a profit, that's what the free enterprise system is all about, so if you don't like dealerships, SeaDoo or Auto, you are free not use them. But it's not fair to complain about making a profit, it's the American way. If you don't like it try living in a communist country.

What did I learn today. When your day starts bad.I slept in.You get to work and and you have a list of jobs as long as your arm and the lazy bastard on the early shift, has stood around all day trying to dip his wick with all the good looking lady staff. The general manager is staying the night and also the south east asia head honcho for all the food and bev. With a party of Eight. There is a function on with 200 plus in the f/room and the air/con is playing up.A guest in the 42nd floor has let loose with three days worth of food and clogged the crappa. That is now flowing into the rest of the suite. And old mate on the ninth floor cant get his tv remote to work.On the 15 floor in the executive lounge,a tap has let loose and is doing what a loose tap does. After awhile(about 4 hours) it was all back to normal and I had changed clothes and went down to the staff area to have a feed.5 mins later head chef walks and drops a MEAL in front of me and Exec lounge staff all came in and thanked me.Me.I did not think with 300 plus people working around me,that would or could happen. It made me realise what others do for me,without me realising it.Also this site. What others do and how we help. One way or another.people like it.
I learnt today to look around myself and find more good things.(hahaThanks for listening.)
The reason for this post was ,I was dark as dog shit earlier in the day and something as small as a smile and thank you, turned it all around.

OK to make a profit?
I don't know, those Occupy Wall Street folks dont think so.
We have them in Philly too. Are they in Kentucky?
If not, can we send you ours?

:agree: I'm beginning to think people in Washington, especially the White House think it's not O.K. to make a profit, especially the small business people. With all the Govt. regs. and red tape it gets harder every year.

Useless trivea.
If you bottled what a cow farts in one day,you can run a 4 burner BBQ for over an hour and a half.So back the cow up and plug into its bum
