Hopefully you will get top dollar for the seats. Ever since the first time I sat in my seats I have wanted to change mine.
Andy, have you found any seats that you like?
Seems like everything I like is very expensive.

Wow, you don't like them either? I love them other than the occasional pinched nut on a good wave, :willy_nilly:.

LOL exactly my point. :o Nutcracker!
I also don't like how low they sit in the boat. I like to sit higher especially when I am docking.

Just a thought,
I was looking at a Utopia for sale close to where I live (I like a boat with a windshield) and thought the seats were kind of cool. The passenger side was a double seat and the helm seat was a single. The passenger seat will swivel around and almost touch the helm seat creating a bench.
Didn't have a chance to measure anything, but I wonder if that is an option.

Hi Jesse, take a look at this pic, behind the hem seat, the drink holder/step is the issue here. our OEM seats are tapered/rounded in the back and also tapered going upwards at that inclined angle. Alot of the aftermarket seats are thick, squared off and not a direct fit for our boats...

I would love to have a bench seat across the front, a place for at least one dog to sit, but I`d imagine that would be a huge PITA to hop over everytime you need to get in the back... I hear what your saying, I think the floor layout on our boats just won`t allow that set up...

if I wasn`t knees deep in this boat, bc I`m not giving it up for the low market value, I would have gone bigger and different by now...

Thanks for the thought brotha!
and if you see that again, grab a pic for some ideas!

Merry Christmas!

Here's the Utopia lay out

The one I posted was a 185, I was trying to stick close to the 18' mark like the Challenger. I'd say if your going to go the bench route don't sell your old stuff, it could prove to be a tougher sale with the "custom" seating vs. the standard seating. I know I would look the other way as I prefer the thing I buy to come as delivered or the parts that came off. Sorta like painted pinstriping with initials on the side of vehicles--I have walked away from cars with that (actually, I hate pinstriping on cars). Most things I have personally modified I have sold with all the stock parts to go with it, people really appreciate that.

You know you're a redneck. .......

Those seats aren't even good for a 1/4 mile at a time, I couldn't imagine a quick boat ride.
