Hot damn!! yeeehaaaa!

Seriously it is all in the prep work. The better the prep...the better the paint job no matter how it is applied.
I just finished painting a 10 inch wide strip of duraliner pick up bed paint on my xp project's hull. I prepped it for days and it only took about an hour to finish.

If your scapping, I'm first in line. That guy with the 99 I just repowered needs a bunk trailer, he's got a roller trailer and that is just a pitiful way to carry a boat.

Lol, I thought I told you you're gonna get smoked. My bro in law keeps his trailers registered here. Lol, it's cheaper to live down south lol, right. It's probably very close to the same.

I respectfully have to disagree.
I have a 99 challenger 1800 with a "roller trailer" and I love it. Loading and unloading is a snap. It pulls really nice and the boat sits really well on it.

Come on!, that`s a typical Pennso move, I see all the mexicans with PA tags living at the joisey shore, how wrong is that!

I don`t have that advantage, and I guess I`m just honest...:willy_nilly::lols:

so far what they get me for 2 vehicles and 1 trailer is way more than what I pay`d back in NJ for registration... BUT people keep telling me it`s cheaper to live here... yeah maybe 20 years ago...

now that all the Yankee`s and PENNSO`s are here the price tripled!!!

All my trailers are $12.40 per year each.
DNR is approximately $15.00 for three years on the watercraft. Should've moved to GA. :)

Did you buy tail lights yet? These are what I put on my trailer. The first set were defective and WM replaced them free of charge. The second set I had my buddy (a professional truck driver) back my trailer up and he clipped my neighbors fence and blew one out. He claims it was my fault cause I was talking to him on his cell phone while backing up my boat, I'm not buying that, LOL. These fit real clean, I even left the cream colored caps on that came on the trailer. It all looks factory, and of course the LED's just make the trailer pop. The only thing that sucks is dealing with the copper that has been water logged and oxidized black. I cleaned it up real good and soldered all the connections and shrink tubed them. There are multiple mounting points on theback so you can move the stud to hit your pre-existing tail light holes. The other thing I did was put stainless carriage bolts to hold the fenders down like the later trailers have. The go down om the "diamond" tread pads on the fenders. That BS mounting system they have originally sucked. Someone pulled my trailer out too quick and ripped them out, then I saw a few later Shor'landr trailers and saw that they put carriage bolts to hold the fenders down, much better idea.

What's up with the axle? Are your leaf springs reversed or something, cause your pic doesn't show the tire in the center of that fender? I'll have to check my trailer once the white stuff stops falling and I can get to my neighbors barn.

Nope, my axle is centered up, OEM springs. If you look close at the steps on the fenders you can just see the carriage bolts. I noticed you went with 14's instead of 13's for the rims, I thought they all came with 13's with ST185/80R13 tires, I could be wrong. But I know the P.O. had been into it before you got it.

I also did a little leg work for you. Your leaf spring appears to be longer on the front VS the rear as seen in this pic, the next pic is your trailer with the wheel centered. But further along in your thread you have a shot from the other side which it shows the wheel is forward. You better take a tape measure to that leaf spring. Could also be why those Kendas shit the bed early...... Hate to see those new sneakers go the same way.

What I'm saying about the spring is from front to center and from center to rear is a different distance. If you flip the spring and put the long side to the front instead of the rear it will center your wheel in the fender.

My fenders also bolted on like yours from the inside of the fender and there wee large black plastic grommets.

what exactly is the concern? the only differences between this and the old is the axle is forward by that much.

If both sides are forward the same that is fine, but if only one side is forward that is why I would be concerned. So, not knowing if the other side, I guess I was just speculating. I've been wanting to eventually replace my springs, guess I'll go direct to Shor'Landr. I have the full manual for my trailer when I bought it. My tires are so tucked that I know for a fact that they would rub the fenders. If I whack a good dip in the road my tires rub the tippy tops of my fenders. There are burnout marks in there now, LOL. I have about a pinky's width of clearance around around the arch of my fenders to the sidewalls--there is NO breathing room for forward movement, only up and down. If you look at my trailer you'll see how tucked they are.
