No not even close. Their pipe sucked. Seadoos need a group of parts along with a factory brand pipe to really wake up.

Yea I thought it looked pretty sweet but I have no idea what was in the kit I wish it told you. But yea it seemed rediculous for that price. That was untill I looked at the factory pipes and got an idea that it is some $$$ for thes too.
Well more than likely neither have any in stock and will just put you on a waiting list that will most likely never happen.

They will if you can make a minimum order. So they usually take your info and get back to you if they can come up with enough orders.

one question i had for all you experienced 96 xp riders. the throttle on mine is super stiff. like the spring return on the carb is soooo strong it hurts my thumb after like 5 minutes of riding. is this normal or may something be wrong, maybe previous owner changed it?
Heres what you need to do...pull both the throttle and the oil pump cable and lube it up till it drips out the other end. Spray the shafts on the carbs too.
I was riding by Bros machine last year and my hand was killing me from it. My bro never noticed it being used to it. We lubed everything up and it was golden.

Ill give that a try but this isn't throttle stiffness this is spring tension I've felt suck and stiff cables, I took the spring off and remounted it temporarily and it felt much better but it kept popping off so I had to put out back where it was.

What spring are you removing?? There shouldn't be any springs other than the ones around the throttle shafts and choke shafts. If you have a spring pulling on the throttle lever like a carb'd car, that's a band aid fix for something else.
agreed...the 787 is light compared to a 951.

Here, look at the springs wrapped around the shafts on my carbs, that's it, no others.
Ok, then I am betting previous owner is compensating for something. I have a spring on mine like a carb'd car. I bet it has something to do with the throttle cable like tonka brought up. Gonna be down next weekend to work on the house ill have to inspect the cable. If I replace the cable what will need to be adjusted?
I bet the PO but a bigger spring on b/c the shafts are corroded from saltwater or something.
Which reminds me...I need to buy about 8 cans of fluid flim and some salt away for my trip out to cali.

I just talked to Joey, he sounds like a good guy. He informed me that the ski is going to go back to the person who he purchased it from and it will be auctioned off to help the original owner with his cancer struggle.
That said I am still in the market for an x4
Folks after reading this post and one one the sea doo forum I kind of got upset and cancelled the sale , I have a conscious and the kid I bought it from has brain cancer 3 operations and trying to get better he is only 24 and had a pwc shop up and running strong when he got sick, I bought him out not realizing what he had sold me or what I had bought ,so I have offered it back to him for free, he said he could not fix it so I offered to have that done for free too so he could sell it and get some money that he could use or donate to any organazation of his choice ,he is supposed to call me when I get home from Florida , so its up in the air at this point , remember money is not everything to some of us but our values should always be high no matter the cost or who you are !!! North shore rider has sent me a email appoligazing, and I don't know that he has done any thing wrong that any of us would not do so do not get mad at me or him , he may still get the ski we will just have to see what happens . By the way I read a lot and very seldom post but this felt important to me to get the whole story out there.Have a safe and happy easter from me and my family .
