Anyone know what prop is the best for an RX di? I want more top end since my spx is set-up for acceleration.

My seadoo stopped working today.... in the middle of riding it just cut off and wouldn't start. The starter turns but no fires and it doesn't sound like it usually does when cranking. I found a bolt and clamp in the hull just laying there. The bolt was one of the exhaust mounts and not sure where the clamp came from

Hi I just got my 96 xp in the water for the first since I bought it this summer and have 2 questions
1) what is the number 1 mod for performance
2) what can I do to get a bigger tank because the 9 gallons isn't a lot for a 110 engine

Thank you

I'd keep the 9 gal tank; less weight, more fun. Also, i removed the front storage bin, rear air baffle and the plastic around the air box; I cut about 12 lbs. out.

Does anyone know where I can find a new or used jet trim seat cover? I didnt see anything on ebay. I would even buy a complete seat if shipping wasnt too high.

It does reduce noise. It also takes the air coming in the vents, through your seat, and delivers it lower in the hull. This helps with safety to prevent harmful fumes from collecting under our azzes. You know how on I/O boats the blower tubes are placed lower in the engine room? I think the baffle is also performing that function.
I don't have Minne's Jettrim hookup but I did get my first seat this week! It is a high one and I got to pick the materials and colors/design. I hired my local upoulstry guy for this one cause I didn't want to screw it up. I don't even keep it outside with the skis.

1) depends on budget... prop or pipe, pick your poison.
2) you can convert to the 13 gallon tank, but engine has to come out, so wait till the engine blows then upgrade the tank if you still feel you need it, i just finished my conversion, and i love it !!!!
2a) store 2 gallons in the storage bin, or have a buddy carry some for u, or just keep a 5gal in the trunk of the car and top off after a short while (in the meantime plan your rides accordingly) (i've done all those things for the last 18 months lol)

Lol, if you convert to a 13 gallon tank will the storage bin still fit?
I saw a micro touch rev limiter but I have no idea what it is

the bucket has to be modified.

On Jettrim seats...there are a couple pages and they are toward the end. Its just a sample picture; you pick whatever materials you want. Spend alot of time picking your materials then call them with the page up and go thru what materials you want. Also...please drop my name...Nick from Minnesota it may get you some freebees. Thanks!

storage bin is easy to modify, cut it near the middle, and it will "almost" slip back together to be shorter, I had to use a heat gun to soften up one corner so I could slip it in there, I just finished my bucket conversion, I will post a couple of pics later today to show the finished product, it might help you visualize it. Honestly it only took 15 minutes and a rivet gun, and about half a can of aerosol white appliance epoxy from home depot to make it purty :)

Definitely will mention you, I think I want a seat just like yours that has a little bit of yellow on it.

Well I'm adding to the X4 club! Just picked up this 95 XP800 for a price i couldn't pass up. Cleaned up the hull, replaced the tempo lines and cleaned the carbs and she's ready to go. Definitely one of the few 95 XP800 that haven't been used and abused and heavily modified. Selling the 96XP in my signature if anyone is interested!

Pretty much completely stock. The only aftermarket parts are an intake grate and seat cover. The hood was pretty faded and ugly so I painted it black. Just a quick job using Krylon Fusion to get through the summer. Other than that just a Blacktip handle bar cover.

The 96 I have for sale is listed here:

nice price, i'd recommend you consider removing the trim tabs & sponsons, replace with stock and ask the same price. (those two items are easy to remove and have value)

I was looking at that ad today haha. I'm painting my single gauge hood and the krylon yellow looks good too.

I thought about the yellow but was unsure how close it would match the gel coat. Plus I already had a can of gloss black.

Once you finish the hood post a pic. Very interested how it turns out!

Thank you for the advise! I'll check around locally and see if I can find a cheap set.
