I saw an engine pic last week that had custom automotive billet high pressure oil lines that thread on used for the main water lines. hours weren't that high on this engine, approx 120 but my last three rides were in 4+ ft seas, and at some point water got in the engine. Oh well, chit happens. One of the downsides of running proks I guess even with outerwears sometimes you can get splashed.
