I want to see someone take a 720 X4, turn the ski into an SPi on the outside but drop in an 1100! It would be the sleeper of the century!!

Matt ur X4 is looking great. You should loose those little yellow seat L guides to keep the flow of purple smooth.

It's just a water injection module. There is probably a regular Micro Touch WIM(water injection module) under that pretty billet case. Mel Miller used it to kick on electric fuel pumps to help feed big bore XPL race skis. It reads the rpm via a wire that wraps around a plug wire and then kicks 12v on and off at the rpm point that you set. He has listed this a couple times before and found no takers. Somebody would pop on it if he dropped it to $200 but he appears to be holding out and playing a long game lol.
I got them to 250, but that's too much imo.

Interesting matt.. Mel was always doing some crazy stuff on big bore. He brought in the fuel air seperator which really helped. Talked with him last week , he is now working on his own 1050 FI system with twin 56mm TBodies. I gave him crap about giving up on 2 strokes and going to a 4tec.. lol. He was quite facinated with my project.

Got it! It's in much worse condition than I thought it would be though. What all information did you get out of the guy? I felt like he was withholding information. He said he has had it since 2001 but couldn't tell me a lot about it which I found very odd. He said he rebuilt the entire motor but I'm thinking he has just done multiple top ends. He said he kept burning up the rear piston. The UMI is shot. The stem has a ton of play in it, I'm guessing from worn out bearings? No title either, he said Georgia doesn't issue PWC tittles. I'm going to start tearing into it this week and I'll see what all is going on.

That is correct WhiskeyD no title in GA, however to register it you need to have a bill of sale from the last person to have it registered.

Or.

Take it to be inspected where a DNR officer will check the HIN to see if it is stolen. If not they will issue you a new reg #.

WhiskeyD I got the exact same info out of him that you did. He "acted" like he did not know much about the ski, but I'm not sure. The pipe, carbs, waterbox, and nozzles look solid though. You plan on keeping the seat?

Good to know. I got a bill of sale from him so I'll see if NC will accept it.

Ah ok, was hoping maybe he told you guys a little more. Those parts do look OK. The waterbox and ECWI valve/filter are covered in overspray. They decided to spray paint the motor in the hull and half the inside is now is covered in overspray. I'm going to pull the pipe and pressure test it. Hopefully its good to go so I can start building my race ski. I had a chance to pull the carbs yesterday and they are 44mm buckshots on a buckshot v-tech intake manifold. Not sure which carbs I'm going to end up running.

Any know what these are for? They came in the box of parts he gave me.uploadfromtaptalk1451950500277.jpguploadfromtaptalk1451950511419.jpguploadfromtaptalk1451950519015.jpg The bracket looks like its a cable holder of some sort. And maybe a fuse?

Its a self resetting fuse. Prob tried to use it for the VTS. The bracket is a home made throttle/choke/oil cable bracket.
