Soon? Nah, this has already taken place.

What do you think Matt? Do you know of any other large collections of parts and race boats?

I have half and the rest of the world has the other half haha.

There is always somebody out there with more. In my case it's Wayne in NY (WetWerx).

We definitely need to coordinate better. There was an extra hundred dollars spent on those carbs

Matt, by chance do you have any of those old "NOVI NOVI NOVI" stickers that the racers had on the front of their hulls back in the day? I've been looking for them for years.

Those were cool decals. Kinda said " Im faster than you" to Buckshot guys!

Got it! It's in much worse condition than I thought it would be though. What all information did you get out of the guy? I felt like he was withholding information. He said he has had it since 2001 but couldn't tell me a lot about it which I found very odd. He said he rebuilt the entire motor but I'm thinking he has just done multiple top ends. He said he kept burning up the rear piston. The UMI is shot. The stem has a ton of play in it, I'm guessing from worn out bearings? No title either, he said Georgia doesn't issue PWC tittles. I'm going to start tearing into it this week and I'll see what all is going on.

What set up are you planning to run and what hull are you putting all these goodies in? WhiskeyD

Good question. I'm not really sure on either haha. I decided last night that I'm going to return the tifton ski to stock and use the parts on a better hull. This one is beat inside and out. I'd really like to find a 99 SPX hull to build on but they rarely seem to pop up so I'll probably look for another 96 XP thats clean. So far I've got a spec 2 with a MT rev limiter and ecwi, 44mm buckshots and 46mm SREs, 83mm-88mm r&d and solas nozzles, and a few different props to try. This is my first time doing 787 engine mods so I'm not really sure whats going to be the best setup. After riding some of the skis at our last meet I'm definitely wanting more power! Think i should create my own thread for the tifton ski or just post here? I've been taking pictures each night trying to document this one

Matt got a steal on those. I was gonna bid just forgot. Im sure Matt and I have cost each other alot bidding over the years, but thats an auction. I bid my best dollar right at the end and see what happens.

As far as the "best setup" Whiskey...theres never one. you never know what combo is going to do what.

I'd start a thread on the Tifton ski, I'd love to see it. It will be easier to follow as well. WhiskeyD

LOL he was rocking that insanely ugly white jacket thats on ebay at the X-4 junkie get together. Not that any of the 90s stuff is stylish. I will admit, if I could get one for $20 I would have been rocking it too.

I got a sweet executives Jacket a few years ago, wool with leather arms. Glad I brought it, it was pretty cold there at night.

Lol yeah was definitely cold. Guess we should have planned it for Christmas since it was in the 80s

Just get a 96 and paint the bottom. You can trip over them.

Yeah i have a few 96XP hulls laying around but I didn't want to go through the hassle redoing the gel coat. Might end up having to though since I dont want to spend a bunch on a bare hull

I plan to paint the bottom of my 96 gloss black in the future at some point, probably whenever the motor gives up I will strip it down and flip it over to recoat. Redo the top yellow or pick a different color, not sure yet.
