Sock repair

Did you ever have a windshield wiper come apart during a major storm? I had to come up with a solution "McGyver" style to prevent damage to the windshield. :)

Gas prices could be worse:
Gas Price Heat Map

My father is in Italy right now and rented a little Fiat...70 Euros to fill the thing (about 1.65 US per Euro)...now THEY have it bad...

Porsche

I had a 951 that would beat anything...from 45mph and up. I didn't have any bottom end, but once you were going, hang on! :reddevil:

I heard on the news today that gas might drop down to $2.25 in a month if the trading gets governmental control on paper at Wall Street.

they are running up gas cause they know McCain ain't gonna win. if they thought he had a prayer, they would have kept it reasonable till after the election. you think this Republican president who used to own an oil company is going to put price controls on his buddies who own him?

Oil Company?

Can you tell me which oil company he owns? The high oil prices are a result many factors. Among them are:
1) Weaker US Dollar for which the oil prices are based,
2) Increased demand from the developing world, (China & India)
3) Hedge Fund speculators, (they make up to 50% of the cost we pay)

If you look at the inflation adjusted price for fuel from the late 70's and mid 80's, we are paying about the same price for gas.

What do think Obama will do?
