If you think about it, as kids ourselves gas prices didn't mean anything for us then either... :)

Gas

It just means to fill up the tank I have to give up one less beer. That's ok with me, so long as I get the time with the kids.:)

Oh, and the jet pump has been rebuilt, so it will be ready for the fourth.

Geez we have no right to complain then! I thought 4.20 was a lot.

Under 4!!

I drove by the QT today and it is at $3.99 and 9/10!

A 12 pack of Bud is at $8.99 at the Publix!

Life is good!:hurray:

Oh, and if the rain will wait for the late afternoon to hit, we will be at Allatoona this weekend.

The truck has a hemi, and got me 16-17 mpg pulling my challenger back from Florida. 19-20 when not towing.

The car gets 20 mpg on the highway, with a light foot, but only 1 gallon-per-mile at the track:reddevil:

You can literally watch the gas gauge drop when you nail it.

I filled the truck up yesterday for $3.76/gal.

Bud Lite Draft beer here cost $38.00 a 1/4 keg...Gas down to $4.01 a gallon. Price to sit around the swimming pool and complain about it with a cold beer...priceless.

Karl:cheers:

your hemi gets 20 mpg?! dang. the most i think ive ever got out of mine was 17. thats according to the computer anyways. its those darn 3.92 gears. and id like to put in some 4.56s so it would pull the boat with even more ease. but i think that would only be a regret at the pump

you cruise at 70?:lols: thats only the speed limit here.

those u-haul trailers are suposed to go back, you know.

you cruise at 70? thats only the speed limit here.

Yup, I usually drive right at the speed limit. THAT might be why I get 20 mpg!!!

Actually, those last 5 mph are what eats your gas. I actually drove home from Florida with Karl's boat at 5 UNDER the speed limit. It picked me up almost 3 mpg. I calculated it and came up with something like saving $200 over the course of the drive back, and figured it was worth it to me.

Besides, it was just safer and more comfortable to drive that slow with a trailer.

It kept me from having to speed up and slow down to accommodate traffic as much. I just stayed in the slow lane and let everyone pass around me while I kept my cruise at 65.

$3.79 yesterday.

Actually dropped 10 cents when we had the hurricane warning...:confused::confused:

Not what is usually does.

$1.29 a liter here 3.8liters in a gallon, and if it makes you feel better my Doral boat get 1-2mpg. every time i go to the pump i like my sporster more and more

Gas here in Florida...uh free...you had to buy a siphon hose and a bottle of mouth wash though...:ack:

Karl

"Will do anything to go run my jet boat"...the sign said...
I think it is worse than that. I do not know how it is for you where you are at but for me at least 40 mile north of me in jacksonville fl Crime has seem to have jumped by a number that I have not ever seen. There even more criminals that do not care and will kill you for no reason and some of the people that want to keep their homes seem to be turning into criminals.

Heck here in Rincklewood...there is no crime rate...except for gray hairs clogging up out roads and water ways.
