It might be better to go to Hess, than dropping your gas tank to get the contaminates out... Carsand seadoo's don't run too good on water...:ack:

I remember back in High School my buddy had an old beat up Barracuda. He claimed it got great miliage...and he always had water in his gas. It used to stall all the time going down steep grades...so he did a lot of coasting.

hehehe best way to get better mpg. my beatter car would have issues with throttle. For no reason at all I would lose power, so instead of stoping I would turn it off while driving and start it right away. worked like a charm till it started doing it again. no idea what was causing it, still does it from time to time.

We were down to 3.23, I actually paid 3.19 to fill my boat weekend before last.

Only up to $3.35 now, but there are rumors (as there are before EVERY hurricane) that there will be a 45 cent hike TODAY!!! It never happens, it just creeps up over the next week by maybe 15 cents.

Update on gas...hit $5.98 last week for a day till the whistle got blown on them. Now it's at $3.77 ...should be below $3.25 by next weekend, as rumor has it.

Wearing shades on the water..........make sure there stuck to you head LoL.

I lost a nice pair of raybans years ago. :(

Chris, you could have saved the labor if you did it yourself. It isn't that hard a job.

Karl

i was looking at over $100 in parts alone to DIY, so im not complaining lol

i know i could have done it but finding the time to do it at work would have taken weeks, this took a day:rofl:

$3.35...even AFTER a direct hit from a hurricane.

It got up to 3.65 last week DURING the hit. But dropped fast.

kool scooper cheaper in tx than fla im on my way 17 hour drive :ack: Ok out the door off to see some steers and queers  Houston here i come

Gas is that cheap in Angleton, but a little more in Houston and surrounding areas. It can vary by a good 20-25 cents depending on where you buy it.

What do you have going on in Houston?

It may take while to get around. Many of the intersections are still "treat them as a four way stop".

If you are coming, bring some tools and materials. There is plenty of work to be done around here...:ack:
