did you buy it from a shop... or a private sale?

If it's a shop... let us know, so other people won't buy from them.

Im not really into public flaming of people but tell me if im being unreasonable, its sold under the label DIY
This was the reply when i asked for info/pictures:

"Sorry there are no documents. We normally sell these to tower manufacturers.
You need to know what you plan to do before you purchase and all the weld
parts are rough because they will be welded and do not get polished."

There has been a hold up with the red vinyl but the seats should be done by mid next week.
I picked up most of the paint work today, just the hatch in front of the steering wheel needs another coat as it bubbled but should be done monday.
Cant wait to get these all installed and see the red pop against the black and white

Its only on temporarily while we measured up for the wake tower but im really glad i got the hatch painted, really coming along

The complex curve in 2 directions as well as the slight curve in the sticker made it a real challenge but I got it to sit pretty well with only a few little bubbles, I had to cut the centre dot out and manipulate it a little to suit the tow point.

These stickers were made in 08 so they had a few wrinkles from sitting around rolled up, up close there are a few defects but who will see when I go past at 40 kn

The other 2 'Seadoo's are on their way to go in the middle of the side graphics

Well, I am jealous of two things here.
1.) How bad ass your boat is even though it is not finished.
and
2.) I started my speedster project several weeks ago, looks like you started yours two weeks or so ago. You are almost done, and I am still working on cleaning the hull up  lol
Also, I love the idea of using the 08 speedster graphics, can't wait to see when you have them all on! Did you get the wake tower figured out? I plan to put one on my boat as well, interested to see how it goes for ya!

Thanks, the side graphics really transformed it for me, im so used to seeing it all white.
Im waiting on everything at the moment- the seats hopefully by wednesday.
My Hydroturf is in Customs waiting release and 2 exhaust gaskets on order so I can re install the pipes.
Im impatient by nature so its killing me to be stuck, though my glue-heatshrink has arrived so i can finish wiring the stereo

We measured up for the wake tower and did some quick autocad designs on Saturday and my fabricator mate would have ordered the ali tube today, it will be going off to get rolled this week while im away fishing and hopefully start some fab the weekend after

Boats looking nice I have the same one struggling with it right now but when I get it running I want to put a tower on it as well could you let me know how your tower goes

I need to have some tunes on my boat and not sure where to mount the radio and speakers. I plan on going with four 6 & 1/2s. I see where you mounted the there but could not see where you mounted the rear speaker on the driver side. Can you send a picture? The boat is looking good and can't wait to see the finished product.

How did you get the steering wheel center off? My boat is in very good condition for a 97 but the yellow on the steering wheel is faded and I wanted to paint it but don't want to break it trying to take it off. Any help would be great. Thanks.

there are 3 small screws from the back, just use a stumpy philips head and rotate the wheel to get access 1 at a time

Ok thanks for the info, I should know that because I work on cars but for some reason I figured it poped on.

I was wondering if you did any work to the jet pumps on your boat. I take it runs great already because you doing a makeover on it but didn't see anything about the rest of the condition. I just bought a 1997 seadoo speedster and it is almost in like new condition so I figured it ran the same, when I put it on the water it ran great for the first hour and then I noticed a lose of power. I guess it's time to pull the jet pumps and replace the wear rings and try to find a place to refurbish the props.

Your boat is looking great and it's really going to stand out when you put that wake tower on. I can't wait to see some more pictures.

Ok, I'm thinking like under the dash? I will wait for you picture before I do any cutting.

If you pull the cup holder out, you can check behind before you start cutting to avoid the wiring (and hold it out the way) and check where the aluminium strip is near the joint, i just hit the edge of it but only just

I bought an air body saw to do the job, worth every cent and made the job so easy

Looks like I have a very busy weekend ahead of me.

I picked up the seats today, extremely happy with how they turned out.

I decided against the extra battery and 'add a battery' and instead found this, it will cut the power to the stereo at a set voltage so I cant flatten the battery, im not going to run an amp or sub at this stage so its a much cheaper option

The auto switch for radio is a good idea... but if you are out, running in the ocean... it's nice to have that extra battery.

BUT... it's looking good. When is the projected finish date?
