read closer my fellow floridian, no title for trailer, title in hand for ski
what?
uhh don't see anything
Oscar, it was written in the CL ad. i saw it.
Title for ski in hand, no paper work for trailer but is included. Bought ski as a project but need to sell. The motor is locked up, so it will need to be rebuilt. I believe all of the parts are there. The carbs need rebuilt, freeze plugs in exhaust and new rave valves.
how do you do that with a mac, i wanted to start doing that, cause when they take these ads down, we'll never see what kinda deals were around at the time
Hull looks good. Wonder how shot the engine is? SBT motor for $845. What would this be worth in running condition? Looks tempting.
that's the first thing i look at too, how much an sbt engine would be, i'd say running, between 1200-1500, cause 97's are in the 1500-2000 range
$500 may be a bit high then. The ad says something about RAVE valves. That would be in addition to the engine. Probably a wear ring too.
how do you delete something, instead of edit it
That one is to nice not to offer the 500. Maybe if he would go another 150 lower would be ideal.
Pretty much thats what I do in calculating salvage or parts.
This one would a salvage and a strong $1800 b/c looks pristine. Again location is everything. Here I think it would go just shy if engine fresh and has papers on engine.
Pump rebuild is another 100 bucks if you do it yourself added to final build tally.
Plus anything else(carb cleaning/fuel lines)
Its only worth it I think if you can profit lets say ~$500 or more. Theres a lot of time that goes into stripping a
ski-->taking pictures---> post here or ebay--->paypal--->post office all for small gain.
If ski with no working engine is more than 100 bucks its usually not worth it when engine is 1000 bucks plus pump service then try to get 1500-1800 bucks.
Margin for loss is great and profit low unless you have a surplus of interchange parts
Thanks for your input OCOD.
