Hey Nam, the oil filter should flow both ways but has more capacity to hold debris in the correct direction. What is worrying me is what did you do about your half broke off ON nipple? Obviously you can't have it splashing fuel around in the hull. Did you get it sealed off good?

On a different note I finished the 96XP and the 96GSX that I had originally bought for $800 on a double trailer today. I have about $1100 in them now with new batteries wear rings and fuel lines. I think I might do up an add for them but don't expect any action until March.

Hey Matt, I guess it doesn't seem like the oil filter is the reason for oil in the hull then. I'll have to clean it up, and find out where it's coming from.

on the ON nipple, it looks like it's sealed pretty decent (I would prefer to replace it eventually though), it'll even run on the ON position and it doesn't seem to be leaking into the hull as far as I can tell. It's on the 96 gsx that needs work, so I haven't really run it more than 10 min in the water

Twin 1994 Sea Doo xp's that run great. Both have good compression (145 -- 150 psi) in all cylinders. Both start right up when cold. Batteries were replaces with in the last year and all carburetors were rebuilt. One has a manual trim that works but the other trim does not work. (I have an extra trim motor that goes with the sale.) One tack works sometimes and both gas gauges DO NOT work. (there is a reserve switch if you run out of gas) Both bodies are faded & scratched but do not have any problems. The trailer is galvanized with 2 new winches & is in great shape. There are also two ski vests & a maintenance stand that go with them. I got these in a trade but I'm just not a Jet Ski guy. Remember these Jet Ski's are 18 years old and show some age. If you are trying to impress your girlfriend go buy ONE (1) new Seadoo for $10K, if you are looking to just get out on the water with a friend these TWO (2) Seadoo's are what you need. if anyone stumbles across a set of 951 cases out there that are reasonable, i'm in need, my last two 951 complete ski's had junk cases so i'm in a bind, can't build the 951 for my rx until i find a set.

I have the motor but just not running it ceased. But Hull in great shape. I have all the Cushions.

That's a good boat deal. I love to make them run again but hate to make them a "clean" boat. I like the two 94's on the double trailer deal too.

my advice, walk away and keep shopping, or buy it sooo cheap that you can sell it for parts.

plenty of ski's for sale no need to mess with one that has issues.

top end & title = issues

its now a $250 ski

+2 on that. It "needed a top end" a long time ago so it needs a crank and all by now. It's not wort saving with no title. Like spim said....it would be a large, slow(and illegal) ski if you did save it. That guy is trying to pass his problem ski. There is just no plus side of that one.

that's a repost and a price drop... and tooooo stripped out to really be useful IMO. and until I find some 951 cases (i'm afraid to email the usual suspects) i'm at a stand-still, but my last two 951 purchases have had bad cases with damage way down on the bottom or inside where it couldn't be spotted until its home.

dam the US market is so cheap those skis would sell for $2500 each over here

i got the wear ring replaced on my 97 gsx, and now it FLIES, super fast ski, my spi can't touch it, it's funny, before the wear ring was done, 2 people on the spi will beat 1 person on the gsx.
