i thought bout that, but I'm gonna go for 1 right now, in case i never get in the water, then i woulda saved myself the trouble of returning the other one,

That would be a yes.
Those screws on the half moon piece in carb are usually stuck.
You may half to drill heads off and hope threaded part comes out easy once half moon is out.

Old Slippery wetsuit. Its still in good condition. Just getting rid of it because I can't find the jetski that used to go with it.

I'm turning into you guys!!! I think I need rehab. Now I have 5 soon to be 4 SeaDoos..

I ended up buying these after all. http://spokane.craigslist.org/boa/3163993921.html

The kicker is, they wrote the description wrong in the ad, and they BOTH RUN!!!

I already sold the big GTX to my employee, so my investment is $500 for the trailer and SP. Not bad for up here. It does need work though. It sounds like the pump bearings are out, and one of the cylinders is low. The mag side is 125,, and the pto is 150. Can I do a hone and rings?

I'm heading on vacation Saturday, so I wont have time to pull the head till I get back. But, I can flip this thing for $1500 by itself..

I need to never look at Craigslist again.

good deal mike.

I think everyone at some point just feels comfortable working on their skis that we take chances on salvaging another one.
If we know we are not going to lose money. Sell trailer here, engine there, computer here and everyone happy.
That way we keep older 2 strokes ski running for another 15 years.

damn it, you were right, one is stuck, and starting to get mangled

should I just grab a regular drill bit, and slowly drill out the head? or get a screw extractor set?

Drill bit slightly smaller than screw head just enough to pop top of screw off?
Kinda like pop rivet.

thanks, gonna do that tomorrow, can't wait to get my rebuild kit and hopefully i'll get it up and going by the end of next week

got the screw out thanks to your advice! does it need s stainless screw? regular zinc? galvanized? to replace it

Yep, that is the stuff I shop for every single day. I would gladly pay his price if I could reach it.

I'm close to Tampa. If you want to make the deal, I can go by there. And I should be in Ft. Myers this Wednesday or Thursday.

not sure if it makes a difference to anybody, but it doesn't come with a trailer, not so much for the value of the aftermarket parts, but for ease of transportation
