is the battery going dead on you? the regulator rectifier is part of the charging system only and with a fully charged battery your ski will run fine till the battery gets low IF its the voltage regulator. if you arent having to keep charging the battery then its not the voltage regulator.

check the rave valves. if they arent working right the engine wont rev over 6000 rpm.

hesitation the rave valves dont come into play till 6000 rpm so its not that. what mods did you do to need a jet kit?

no crank its the starter relay. in 20 years of working on sea doos ive replacead only a couple starter buttons and hundreds of starter relays. around 20 this season and its been a slow season!
