There is lots of performance to be had modifying the system. All the water you can keep out of the pipe and waterbox w/o melting the exhaust tubes will produce more torque.

Hey I was just wondering if any one could help me find or sell me buckshot carbs??
Or if this is a waste of money and recommend some othe carbs I would appreciate it thanks.

Is there a reason you need bigger carbs. If you do need them I would go with novis or blackjack carbs

Well I want bigger carbs so I can get a more demanding prop perhaps and I really want to replace the ones I have

The 787 really doesnt respond to one mod. I would recommend doing a spec 1 or rossier pipe, shaved head, flame arrestors and a rejet, and the rev limiter first...then a set of carbs. The old buckys arent bad but novis are the best.

Okay I have benn liking for a pipe flame arrestors and rev limiter but I can find them

When they pop up you gotta have the $$ no effin around. They are around. You can buy the arrestors and adaptors new. I think I have a rev limiter...

Agreed also buy smart and from known trustworthy sellers like Minnetonka I can personally attest that he sells great parts at a good price.

What material from jettrim do you guys recommend for the seating area. I'm gonna order a cover like this one for my xp800 seat. I hate to be a copy cat, but that seat is sick!!! I was thinking black carbon fiber and do the rest in regular vynl.

There is a great deal on Ebay on almost new Buckshots right now for $300. There is also a Rossier pipe and a Factory pipe on there.

i'm a big fan of my spec1, and I LOVE water injection, it was a very noticeable difference when I added it. Granted yes there are downsides, mainly the risk of a filter/jet getting clogged and burning things up, i'll take that risk because I appreciate the added umph when I hit the throttle, and so far I haven't had any issues. I've never been interested in AM carbs myself, and I could be wrong but I don't think carbs are necessary for a prop swap, I know I ran a swirl, and my buddy john ran an xo in our 96's and both of us had stock carbs.

Med slip on top...All the CF is really nice, I also like their hammered stuff.

Just keep your eye out for "hotbabepwcparts" and "jetskijunky" on ebay. Two long time con artists to the community. I know hotbabe has a spec 1 on there that looks all cobbled together..I would advise to stay far away.

My jettrim is medium slip on the top 2 sections and the 4 side sections are smooth vinyl.

Slick!

I went with medium slip on top with yellow stitching, side 2 smooth bright yellow vinyl, tail smooth bright yellow vinyl, and side 1 black carbon fiber.

Got a matching beer hugger also!

Skew,

Do you have a "hump" seat on your XP from a 95 XP800 or 99 SPX? cause that's what your ordered if the line art is correct. It you have a stock "flat" 96 XP seat the "hump" seat cover will not work. Just checking so you not out any money.

I forgot to mention...but I think if you drop my name and group (Nick Twin City Jet Pilots) they will hook you yup with some sort of discount, matching can koozie, etc.

I asked if I could get a matching koozie because I had seen some of the guys with them. She said sure i'll tell them to fix you up! No extra charge for it either.

I received my Jet Trim seat cover the other day and when I opened it today I noticed the colors were way off. It was supposed to be black and white but was more of a black and "peach". I called them up and they were very nice & helpful and explained that the white must have had an adverse reaction from the lamination process. They offered to replace the seat cover if I cut the messed up one into a bunch of tiny pieces and took a picture. So I busted out the scissors and camera but couldn't bring myself to destroying a perfectly good seat cover just because the colors were messed up. I ended up calling them back to see if I could buy the cover off them to put on my SPX since its kind of a loaner ski and I dont really care what it looks like. They sold it to me for a good price and it helped us both out.. it wasn't a total loss for them, the stock cover on the SPX has a rip in it that I've been just living with, and I can get some practice installing seat covers before I do my main ski. This was my first experience dealing with Jet Trim and I must say I'm very pleased with their customer service. I will definitely recommend them to friends and go with them again if I need anything else. I wish I could afford one of their computer chairs!
