It's good to see a real one out there. At least he's being reasonable with the price. It was $499, right? Seriously though, seems like he is a full grand high....especially at the end of the season.

definitely 1000.00 too much for October; especially since it needs work.

ow many of you guys hard jetted your stock exhaust/waterbox? I was doing a search on it and seems to really help power. I see jet works sells a kit to do it but some guys use carb jets? I'd like to know more about this....

Wow thanks Nick, keep it coming!

Speedbuggy- It is hard to out do BRP's system if it is working properly. Problem is that an old water valve can be a problem point. Often they wont leak until 3/4-WOT throttle because that's when the incoming water pressure is really testing the system. I have done it a couple times but always with aftermarket pipes when I was following someone's recommended set-up. You get a 1/4" brass nipple and a 4.5mm tap for the end. The Mikuni high speed carb jet will screw in the end and the hose and clamp will go right over it.

Thanks for the information, im just trying to maximize the efficiency of the xp..... i recently replaced the bellows, clamp, and spring in my water valve. I adjusted is as the manual said. Im trying to avoid doing headwork/compression changes and not doing a pipe for reliability reasons as we all know. I'd rather have a ski i can drive at 10/10ths all the time and not worry about it blowing up then a ski thats faster but im always thinking something is gonna happen...

Quick questions guys, Anyone know anything about jet dynamics avenger grate? My buddy has one that he said he would sell me for 30 bucks. Worth it?

Yes it is well worth it. They have a number stamped into them that identifies how aggressive the scoop is.

The Avenger is a really old one...should be marked a6. That is the first one made for seadoos. Then #9 is least aggressive, #16 is medium, and #17 is most aggressive.

The inventioneering grate is a good one too...looks like a dolphin.

Is the one (silver) is an actual 95 XP800, the one with the purple rear engine mount. That was a one year only mount in that color. Nice pics btw.

Good eye but no. I just put my XP800 together using a black one laying around and then had the purple left over. Here is a pick of my pump gas burning 95.

Hey fellas ... I got a 97 spx 787 yesterday and it's got 150 psi in both cylinders.... Now to make it pretty and ready for next season:)

I'm getting 7120 out of the Rossier with only carb adjustment so far. I want to add ECWI to it because it's a little soupy in the middle right before the Raves open up(my cruising spot). Being over carburated and playing with timing could be to blame for that. I like the Rossier for a Rec app better than the R&D pipes for the 787's that I set up earlier this year.

Thanks for the props Nick. My white boat has Westside stickers on both sides!
