Love to see all the X-4 love guys!! I just picked another two up with a new customer/friend. I talked him into a new JetTrim seat even though he didnt own a X-4 yet...lol It needs an engine rebuild, but after he sells the two trailers he will be getting everything to build a really nice one, and I get the other one and all the extra parts from a 3rd! machine he had parted down.

His buddy owns one of the cleanest 95 XP800s out there; which we added to yesterday by stretching a NOS hump seat cover on his beat up seat. Unfortunately, it needs an engine overhaul due to a air leak, but if theres any machine that deserves a new motor its this one. Oh, and it will be getting some sick registration numbers and correct reg placement before spring too.

LOL no problem bro...it was a decent deal but I bet you can do better; esp in the off season.

If anyone wants a Jettrim seat make sure to mention Nick from MN showed you the sickest seadoo seats and you want the hook up too. I personally like the 2" rise myself...

...and to get kinda g@y....I also had them make matching JT can Koolies to match my seats...LOL

The rise seats are about $200 including the extra foam (2&4 inch)

They do make covers for the hump seats...Check www.jettrim.com for more info. Also look at hotproducts.com for the most current materials available...the JT website is missing a bunch.

Also...Harbor freight just released a T-50 air staple gun!! Got mine for $25 and works great! Did 3 seats and after I oiled it and lubed the plunger it never fails!

figures... I was just at mine two weeks ago and was disappointed that they didn't, so I just bought a box of the standard's, I was turfing a trailer bunk anyway, and usually the carpet wears out as fast as the staples anyway. but for seats, I insist on stainless.

For trailer bunks I used roofing nails... assuming they would be fairly water proof...

They dont have them at HF...I had a hell of a time finding the SS staples at a store that had them...I looked for like 5 min and finally found them. The Arrow ones are hard to find, but the ones I got were in a red box and were about $7 for 1300. Menards...there kind of reasonable. EDIT...might want to finish my sentence!! I meant to say they are a regional franchise.

I love Menards. We just had the first one open up near us...still about 30 miles away but their selection is a lot better than HD or Lowes.
And a lot cleaner too.
We bought 2 screen/storm doors and 1 new entry door + all the hardware from them.

Question - has anyone tried the pto with no rotating mass? i saw it on ebay, it is literally splines and threads with minimal rotating mass, are they better? or should i stick with a regular pto... ps love the thread
