If I can't get these orange streaks out, then the seat can't be salvaged as is. I may try to paint it, and if that doesn't turn out well, I can still cover it with a jettrim. I don't see many other options. Would like to keep it original.
Question: Does the old seat cover have to be removed to install a jettrim cover?
That's the same way I removed the old seat cover.Cool, if you do remove it, CAREFULLY pull the staples. I lift one corner of the staples with a small thin screw driver and then use needle nose pliers to remove it all the way.
"who is the member here that has the ability to machine or duplicate parts"

657X huh? I nailed it with the 94XP hull call!
Currently leaning toward uninstalling the factory cover and putting on a jettrim. What would be a fair price to you for the factory cover?Cool, if you do remove it, CAREFULLY pull the staples. I told you I'd give you a 3rd of what you paid for the seat. I think you paid 75. So 25 is my offer.Currently leaning toward uninstalling the factory cover and putting on a jettrim. What would be a fair price to you for the factory cover?
