fuel pickup mod is,waste of time.. someone can do swap in a weekend. Conversion needs a " dog house" bolt on" fiberglass piece for quick access like RXP.

i like what im seeing. How would you go about drilling in to the hull? are you using self taping screws or whats your plan there?

I hate.. no, I HATE!! That Yamaha hood! About as bulbous and unattractive as a PWC can come. Why would they disgrace our beloved XP like that!!?

LOL I guess, but it's such a slap in the face, to take the most iconic seadoo of all time, and to slap the ugliest yama hood on it.... unforgiveable

Here is the the complete 99 I picked up; Got it super cheap being told the dealer had told him the motor was shot and needed 2g to replace it. At the price I got it for I didnt even check out the motor just handed him money and left.

Got it home and....well...there was nothing wrong with the motor. Little oil leakage in the PTO Cyl but it started up and ran. Needed a full going thru so I did the lines, carbs, pipe weld, pickup repair, oil lines...I did that right away and came back to it a few days later and the line to the PTO was full. I pulled the manifold off and found that the check valve in the manifold was stuck open so I yanked it out and pressed in a good working fitting. Pump is brand new with a solas prop too. Then I brought it to the buffer and had him do his thing.

Get ready to Jizz...lol

dirty ass dealership. probably didn't even check it out, either that or was just trying to rip off the owner.
I guess the owner never tried to start it after that.

Ive heard it a few times...I even got a service manager to admit it to me at one shop. They dont want to work on them so they tell them the worst to make sure the customer leaves. Pretty pathetic but a dealer cant tell a customer once they touch it that they dont work on them.

Wait.. they "don't want to work on them"? Why!? Isn't that where they make their money? Service?

That just seems idiotic.

Repair cost out weighs the vehicle value. Dealer gets stuck with the ski and unable to recoup the cost, they paid the tech, insurance etc......just one giant snowball.

Well I went over to the races in Panama City this weekend and I just wanted to share some of the skis that I saw. This battle boat is what you would expect to see out there. It had tons of World Finals stickers all over it. I've never seen these sponsons like my black and white X4 has before. Minne had said he had seen them so I knew they were out there.

I have to slip in a GSX on ya... This build was so clean! It's 951 powered but it sure reminds me of mine. It was great to see it. I didn't get to talk to the guy, hopefully he will bring it to Pensacola next week.

Now this thing.... This stopped me right in my tracks! Not only is it beautiful but what a Moster!!! Ported 951, Novi's, White pipe, dual exhaust, 155 pump!!!

The dpi boat I'm pretty sure is Chaney or Frokker they are the young guys of the group of dpi old schoolers. And those sponsons were made by dpi back in the day and were local to me in Minnetonka.

The green boat is Waynes buddy, I know him as knk crew on Facebook. Just a sick boat!

I like the idea of the bar for the front motor mount but my question is how are you going to bolt the side that goes up to the hull??? are you doing glass work or does that plate just hold the front motor mount fine?
