Karl...Bout time you get some of this arctic air down there.
We are now warm, but under FIRE ADVISORY since it has frozen so many times and dehydrated our grass and trees. Now there are small wildfires all over.
In fact, on my way to work, there are at least 8 patches of burned grass in the median or on the side of the road where cigarettes have been tossed and lit the grass. That is in 25 miles of road.
Everyday on the ride home I see another out-of-control fire off the side of the road.
Haven't had any rain in about a month, but several freezes and lots of cool dry days with lots of dry arctic air blowing through.

I have to say that this is a very interesting thread. What sucks is that it has been in the 50's for that past few days and I will be going to the Miami boat show next week. It is colder there than in Bermuda. I was hoping to work on my tan.......On the price of gas we were paying up to $9.95 per gallon last summer and now it has gone down to about $7.00 per gallon. You guys have got it easy where you are.:hurray:

Karl, It is more like the custom duties that my government imposes on everything. When you import a boat, the duty alone is 55% of the cost. That is why I bought an older seadoo due too the lower cost. It is actually quite fun bringing an older one back to life....

:cheers: Let get to a real subject....Warm weather is on the horizon. +8(46f) to day and going to be +11(52f) tomorrow with 90% chance of rain. For the most part the snow has melted only couple inchs on the ground and should be all gonna by tomorrow night. I sure hope this is the end of the snow. Only problem with snow melting this fast is flooding and it will be almost impossible to drive cause of the fog.

The wife and I are jonesing to go snow skiing and boarding, so YES, we are jealous.

Your talkin bout great weather all the time 40s man its 75 in SOUTH TEXAS!! But... it started some rain bout the time I was hookin the trailor:ack:...
