Saturday and sunday are forecasting 77 degrees, but this time of year the wind kills us. Supposed to be 20 mph.
Might take it to the river since a good chunk of it is perpendicular to the wind direction and sitting low in a tree-shrouded "valley".

I had a nice surprise today. I checked on my speedster to find the fuel tank was siphoned empty(40 gallons)... I had a full tank about a week ago...glad gas is only $1.85 a gallon. I think its time for gas filler lock.

That is Sooo wrong! Ya know, i had 2 cars broken into (two different occasions) in the last few weeks and 'they' took stupid stuff... A DC Inverter.. Jut the inverter, but not the plug for it
. About 3 bux in quarters, but not the dimes or nickles and had the center console rifled like they knew or thought I might have money or something valuable buried. Separate car, same thing, console rifled through, took just a couple of CD's. My neighbor across the street keeps getting her cigarettes stolen from her car. This world is getting worse and worse. there is no respect for others property. If someone else has it, you must be entitled to it on the basis that they have it. :rant:

Tell me about it my bosses Motorhome just got all the windows and all the outside storage compartments broken. Guess what all they took was a VHF player :ack: $3000 dollars damage done just to steal i ****** VHF player :rant:
I another friend that owns a tire shop Had a bunch off tires stollen over a couple day so he used big a BIG chain to lock up the storage building. Well they used a torch to cut the chain. And the tires caught fire, so he lost close to $100,000 in tires "burnt ones" PLUSE got build $80,000 for environmental clean up.
Edit: Just found out the house behind me was just broken into.

I keep my boat on a lift that is hard to get to the gas filler...I'm gonna install a motion light to help ward off this activity. This time it was gas, next time it might be something more valuable. I would have thought gas was of more value when it was over $4.00 a gallon. I got a feeling it was a neighbor who saw me fill the tank with cans. I usually leave it low on fuel till I'm ready to go boating, so the fuel is fresh. I filled it, and the weather changed so I didn't go out.

I'm thinking with the economy getting so bad people are getting a little more desperate. If I catch anyone stealing from me or even a stranger...they better say a pray I miss them if you know what I mean!

Man people are bout worthless these days... a few blocks over here on the Island somebody broke into a house being build and stacked up all of the nice fixtures still in boxes and when he left to get the truck to come back and get them.. the neighbor and home owner walked in with there pistols and waited for him to come back.. he did and the try to get him to stop when he jumped back into truck they unloaded on the hood and windshield then pulled him out and waited for cops!!!! Nice!!! just sharin alittle story of somebody gettin what he had comin to him

Weather is in the mid 80's*f and water is in the low 70's*f. It's gonna be a great weekend to be on the water.

It's been cooler here this winter than normal. I hope soon we all get warm weather to get out on the water.
