TCJP Sortie. August 26-28th Theres a fair amount of seadoo guys but everything is game as you can see. 787 powered Lil Wake, Jetmate (gonna be a kawi 1100 mate this year) wetbike...we got it all.

The Landing was awesome!! There was tons of parking, the boat ramp nearly touches the docks and the hotel overlooks it all. They have a cool tiki style bar inside the screened in area and a full restaurant and bar inside. The staff seemed laid back and was cool with us using the ramps, docks, and partying our asses off haha. She said it can get pretty wild during the summer time. I checked out a room with the double beds and it was very small but clean. It definitely looked like a fun place to spend the weekend. They only have 13 rooms though, and they go quick starting spring they said. So we need to decide on dates soon and get the rooms booked.

Wow this is awesome!! Thanks for digging in Whiskey. Lets get the dates nailed down so we can decide more important things like.... who's on the Pelican, who's on the parrot, and who gets the horse!

That would be perfect for me, I would prob have 4 skis thereSo May ~27-29th? I'm down for whenever so I'll let you guys that have a longer drive decide when. I grabbed a catering menu and the prices look pretty reasonable
They seem to have a daily $2 beer special as well

Is there any shore to pull up on? We should really talk about that we plan on having more people than the rooms they have and if people that stay off site can keep machines there, of if they would maybe allow some tents or something. It looks pretty good the issue is we will have way more peeps than rooms.
On the dates.. For me memorial would be ideal as I could go to the Wisconsin dell's freeride on the way back so I don't have to unpack.

If we rent the place out I'm sure they will be fine with us using the entire parking lot for everyone. We'll have to ask about tents but they seemed pretty laid back. As of right now there only seems to be a handful of people interested so we kind of need a head count. If we're doing lake Norman this is probably our best bet outside of a VRBO rental.
