For someone like me, just doing a day trip, I will need to know where to meet you. I know Georgetown marina has a ramp for a $6 fee but there may be a better place to meet you. Possibility I can come Friday instead of Saturday but still figuring out work and family

We will have to work that out when we get there

Got the boat cleaned up :thumbsup:20161031_204210.jpg
Tomorrow I will rewire the trailer and get all lights working for the long trip, already did this to the jet ski traliler last week  stoked for the ride

one suggestion made by my buddy that's coming is that if you have an anchor, bring it.

might come in handy near the springs, I have 2 somewhere in my garage so i'll be digging for them after work tomorrow.

Yio
Even before bad leaf spring, missing bolt on wheel and old bearings.

Sorry Im going to miss ride!

Nothing is missing and EVERYTHING is new now. I just put $350 of goodies on it yesterday. I bought six Stainless Boat Buckles on it to eliminate the ratchet tie downs. Not cheap, but they are nice.

You don't have to miss it. Call off sick,,,

Haha I'll be doing the same picking up an HX on the way. An X4 fits perfectly in an 8ft bed at an angle though lol.

talk about drive time...ill trade any one lol i think its like 14hrs for me lol. we are going to drive through the night tho since the wife is a 3rd shift er nurse.

doubtful, but the water in the springs is usually colder than expected. Since temps at night have been dropping into fall levels the water temps are working their way down. I took a face full on Saturday and for the first time in 6 months it wasn't refreshing, it felt cold.

Looks like 5 marinas on the lake, am I seeing that correct?

there are a few for sure, when I booked mine I only thought there was one so I actually booked a house about 9 miles north of it, but that's reasonable distance by boat or car for me.

The georgetown marina is the one that i'm pegging as our "main" marina for reference.

according to google, I think this is the correct one.

its just outside the north end of Lake George.

Im looking at a large amount of fuel each day and getting 30 gal of premix in the boat 5 gal at a time isnt fun or quick. I usualy put in 9 gal from the pump and 1 gal from a can with a quart of xps to make 10 gal@ 40:1  putting the oil injection back on the boat is high on the list of stuff to do but since the salty hondas layed down on me and I've had to shift over to the challenger and I'm out of time. The good news is I can cary quite a few cans of fuel for the smaller tank/race fuel guys:thumbsup:
