Sounds good, thank you

ya, no worries, quite a few of us have each others cell #'s and it might be best to have a group message text feel free to PM me your # and you'll be in the loop.

you have a point so i'll throw some info out there....

As in the past It will usually go along the lines as follows
(just an example but its pretty basic, we can only go north or south, so this is a rough idea)
north is winding river, some twisties, and another lake for those with really good range.
south is lake george, the springs, and a couple of little runs south of the springs maybe.

thursday, hook up with the early arrivals and head towards the springs to check out the southwestern shore of the lake, look for beachy area's and maybe scout the springs. Return north, top off if necessary then ride north until fuel forces return, look for beach area's, coves, and no wake zones, check out the twisties after murphy island, head home and make arrangements to meet for food/drinks at a local pub then meet up at X location for beer/snacks and shooting the breeze.
friday
10am at the georgetown marina, circle the aouth end of the lake (10x6 miles), collect stragglers 11am on a random little beachy area south side of lake george north of the springs, then check out the springs and have a snack then run north up the river, pick up more stragglers as they arrive and ride until people run low on gas and head back to top off, late lunch break then afternoon run preferably up the river towards cresent lake, looks like some twisties there (which we will scout thursday)
saturday
maybe some small group morning river runs but for others a late start due to late night, noon near the marina :) from there we head to whatever spot we really liked on Friday, for sure catch the springs because the friday arrivals won't get the chance and repeat friday for the most part, then go hang out somewhere again.

Sunday, morning runs for some like me that will likely be driving by noon to get home so the wife doesn't kill me. Others staying longer and y'all will be more coordinated by then as far as when/where.

right now i'm not sure if the marina has a big long dock or even if there are any beachy area's so thursday we'll be looking for that type of stuff with a dozen ski's in mind.

the lake:, if its really choppy then we follow the shore or do river instead of lake and wait for the wind to drop, I hear L.george can be choppy as hell with anything over 10-15 mph wind. I'm guessing i'll be going through about 40-55 gallons since I plan 6 runs minimum, I'll have a full tank 15 gallons and 12 gallons spare to start each day.

Spimothy, this was very helpful, thank you. I sent pm w my cell for group text. I am going to loosely plan on coming saturday depending on what you all are planning. Sounds like friday will be the big day but I cant get there that soon. Anyway, as long as the group isnt getting started too late on saturday, i will drive over for the day then need to leave by 3 for family obligations.

My gtx 4tec holds 15 gallons. Im new to the seadoo thing so dont know my range. When u say spare 12 gallons, assume u r not carying that but leaving at marina or rental, right

Great write up Spim that all sounds really good. Thanks for that.

I hope to make it in Fri soon enough to catch a ride. Sat I plan to put some serious miles on.

ty matt,
didn't want to overstep but it was time to at least lay out some basics.

IMO saturday will be the big miles day as well, with 2-3 rides planned, depending on how much I spend on the water Thurs/Fri I might sleep in :)

ps.. finally fixed my ski today, after 3 weekends of chasing ghost gremlins, turns out the dam 3 month old AGM battery had some intermittent issues, bought a new battery and she roared to life, picked up 1500 rpm and 11mph  (still fighting with Batteries+ on my warranty, but that will be addressed)

Stupid batteries LOL.
I can't stress a battery tender enough. Just winterized my boat with Optimas from 2006 today. Fired up instantly after sitting 2 years. The boat not the batteries they get rotated on the tenders every other month.

i'm all fired up about this weekend, packed up all my gear and some assorted supplies,

Thursday arrivals, send me a PM with your # and we can get together for water time, then food & drinks after.

You have my number spim what time do you think you will be there

i'm leaving around 7am, have to stop and move my ski from a single to a double (we're bringing 3 riders, 4 skis just in case someone breaks down), then i'll start driving, I'm estimating arriving around 2pm at the latest, drop off the suitcases and maybe head to the ramp for an afternoon run before sunset. I've never actually used a ski lift before, but my house has two lifts, so if I can figure that out then my ski will be water ready as soon as I finish breakfast friday morning and we'll be waking up the neighbors. (at least one turbo ski coming with me maybe 2). My buddies might be an hour or two behind me, not sure yet, we're still working on that.

Google says 4 hours 45 mins trip time. But I won't be able to haul ass pulling a trailer I'll probably be on the road at around 8
