what did the wastegate run, nammer just bought a r12x and based on his running symptoms (sluggish but hitting low 40's) i'm thinking that's one of potential issues... I told him $200 but maybe i'm way off.

My ski has been in/out of the shop for two weeks now with max rpm issues, I have 7 days to fix it, i'm starting to panic.

The solenoid was $75 NIB oem honda off ebay but if he needs the actuator I think its $160ish
Edit: [MENTION=54149]nammer[/MENTION] several actuators on ebay $60-80 but if the wastegate its self is siezed then you need the entire turbine housing (exhaust side of turbo) and you can swap his cold side if its all good onto the new one

At this rate I will be riding the challenger. At least its a 2 stroke. Now both hondas are crapping their pants. Red has cyl2 injector code, black has cyl1 injector code that it didnt have before. Im going to drain fuel, swap injector from red to black and hope for the best. If that doesnt work I will be the haul boat :facepalm: I hate 4 strokes.

Are we going to start a new thread to be sure everyone is clear on where we are going, who is going, where we are supposed to meet, the time, and overall plan for the day? I'm lost in the 20 pages that exist and all the stuff incl for sale. I'm not complaining, but i can't find any of the details at this point and if I recall correctly, this event is next weekend...I think.

I live in Orlando but am hoping to make a day trip. I have things to do w my daughter so my schedule is tight but depending on what you all are planning, I may be able to pull it off. I would leave early in the morning but need to be off the water by 230, maybe 3 at the latest.

I'm still not sure what ski to bring to go next to the modified 97XP I'll be picking up. I've been looking over the local CL stuff down there. I'd love to find an old racer or something.

Doesnt look like anyone is stepping up to lead the effort here. If someone isnt going to do that, im going to pass. We need a plan and some coordination, especially since we are going to a place where none of us have ever been. I barely have time to go but it is 2 hrs for me so can get up and back the same day if we have a plan but im not going for a garage sale, LOL. Hopefully we get some traction here bc i know some folks have rooms booked etc.

I just got done dropping the salty hondas at the stealership. I dont have time to replace the injectors and I also dont pay that bill. I told him I need a miracle and I really only need one and he sed he will let me know today.....or tuesday :facepalm: It will be more fun on a ski but the challenger is just a 18ft twin 787 jet ski. Did I ever mention I love 2 strokes:thumbsup: It does donuts and jumps wakes enough :lols: which ever trailer I tote down there will still be fun:cheers:

we'll be more organized in a day or two, since we're a bit spread out location wise I think we can just use a group text thread for specifics, and use this website as a blanket "catch all" like last year. It was easier in georgia/orlando since we were all next door to each other.

Just keep an eye on this or the new thread and we'll have all the specific's. Since a couple of us will be there early (i'll be there pretty early thursday with 3 riders) we'll have a chance to scout things out and zero in on specific time/location for morning meets, and we'll probably figure out which house will work for a hang out or do a group dinner.
