OK I'll do the play by play.
I have a 2004 rxp that was running at 8100 rpm. A couple months ago I started to build up my ski and have lost rpm on every thing I do! I'm now down to 7400 rpm's. I'll put all the parts and what the prm reading was for all of them.
1. I changed my stock air intake to a riva air intake and also changed my intake grate and put a rnd scoop on it. 7800 rpm's... is this normal? I was thinking the problem might be more water being forced in to the stock impellar and there was just more resistance!?!

2. Took my pump off yesterday and put in a new 15/20 impellar, new wear ring, wedge and a VTS rod. I had it out and now hitting 7400 rpm's. The pick up was great but just isn't giving me the rush I though I would be getting. Now I'm thinking The engine is bogging down on me because of the size of the impellar and need more boost from the super charger. I do have a new stage 2 riva S/C impellar but am getting a little pissed off that all these so called proformance parts are bogging my ride down.

Please any one help me!!
Thanks Billy

might just be a fluck but maybe the supercharger is sliping, that would lower your rpms. you might have a little to much prop as you dont have an innercooler. but your still really low on rpms. Check the slip first cause if thats your problem it can become a major issue if its not fixed.

I would try going back to stock on the intake grate, but it sounds like something is off in the tuning,if it started with the air intake.
