So the other day, my new son in law and I went riding on my GTR215 at a local lake. I was explaining everything to him, how to check the oil, hoses, coolant and so on.

So since I didn't check behind him, the oil dipstick was left out about 3/16 of an inch. We rode, separately, through a whole tank of gas. Due to weather, I just got around to cleaning the GTR up today and setting her up for the winter. There was about 2/3 quart of oil all over the inside of the engine bay. Took me about three hours to clean it all out of the bilge, but I just rubbed down everything else. Hey, oil works as a good corrosion inhibitor. LOL!

Really, I cleaned out as much of it as I could. I then topped off the oil on the trailer with my level and then, sprayed everything down really good with CRC Marine Corrosion inhibitor.

Come warmer months, I'm gonna have to really get into the bilge area and clean up what's left of that oil. Last ride is in the books for this season. Salt-A-Way, rinsed, washed and waxed. Maybe when I get bored over our two months of winter here in Florida, I'll work on getting the rest of that oil outta there.

BTW, does anyone know of a good way to get oil and water out of the bilge area? I'm looking at Simple Green, but it is known to cause corrosion on aluminum parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
