Hello, Back in the PWC World

Not sure about going into limp mode but I wan concerned about you being towed in, was it any more than 5 mph? Your supposed to pinch the water inlet line when towing so that the water doesn’t back up through the exhaust and flood the engine, I would take the plugs out and roll it over just to be sure no water got in. Congrats on the ski, maybe just try putting some more gas in it, and see if that fixes the limo mode issue

Want to send a shout to all that helped me out in this thread . Have been to the lake and son has run the hell out for two days without a single hiccup! Ski runs strong and Reva max out at 6850. All systems working good. Just need to do some cosmetic work on it now Grime on hull will be biggest challenge . Thanks again !!!!!

Fun while it lasted . After 14 hours of running great took it out for a quick ride at the lake . Ran great for 30 seconds ( idling out of no wake zone ). The would barely get over 4400 rpm and was missing and sputtering. Will start the diagnosing process over again. ☹️
Just for peace of mind a new regulator and solnoid was installed about 3 hours ago. Been feeding it fresh non -ethanol fuel .

Not sure if you’ve looked at them yet, but rave valves start opening at about 4400 rpm but that doesn’t explain the sputtering

Checked the charging system . 12.48 at rest, 13.78 when running/reving. So took plugs out . Looked bad . So put new plugs in and took it to the lake . All is well now. New plugs did the trick . Bought 2 extra that way will I’ll have some on the ski . Should those plugs look that bad after only 13 hours
