Forum Members Unite! Orlando Area December Ride?

Yes it's giving me a lot of tuning opportunity. In addition to the yellow ones, I'm also firing up my racing X4's. I spent $350 last weekend on race fuel alone! I have it all stored of coarse, haven't ridden the skis yet but it looks like this weekend may be it.

Glad to have you back safe Nam! Were gonna have some fun. Let me know if there is any little odds and ends that I can bring that may improve your skis.
That goes for the rest of you too. This is my first of many trips to central Fl dragging two skis in the next few months because region 7 has begun announcing dates. I need to be prepared to repair anything away from home and I'm a mile away from that at this point.
I'm looking forward to Dennis sharing his race experience. He has been there so can give me an honest assessment of how far I am behind the guys out there I'm about to face.
Gary- I have my kids this weekend but will be able to ride here at home (Basin Bayou) if you want to come out. I'm not taking down a 65mph ski any time soon.(lol)

thanks guys, i'm real excited for the meet too, I know u guys said winter haven or garden (i know they're 2 different) but did we ever get an exact location?

sweet, thanks for the offer/help 1995hx, I'll prob just hold off til next weekend, I've been too busy and/or lazy to pull them off, plus I'm going to order rebuild kits for them too.

No problem, I know its a little early to look at the weather but i just checked the 10 day forecast for winter haven and got 76 Saturday mostly cloudy 20% chance of rain and 74 Sunday scattered storms 30%chance of rain sounds like it wont be bad but im bringing my wet suit anyway

I went ahead and booked a suite this morning, talked to Susan the same lady I spoke to a few weeks ago, 863.324.6320 very nice, and they honored the $95 rate for a suite, she still had a post-it called "tim's group" on her wall
so its official now, Come rain,sleet,snow, i'm heading to winter haven ! My group of 3 riders with 4 skis will be arriving sometime on Friday Night, staying Fri/Saturday, RE: Friday, not sure of the arrival time since I hope to ride the Kissimmee River on Friday afternoon on the way up. I'll be easy to spot, i'll be carrying a 12 pack of Mich Ultra around the parking lot
Sunday if the plans hold up, we might head east towards Daytona and Ride the Econ, and if we're really bored, check out the free ride.
But overall my plan is to ride Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

i think if he brings another ski home he'll be telling his ex-fiance that it WAS a present for her.
i'm stoked about the ride ! Riding this Sunday just long enough to get all the old gas out so I can fill her up freshy fresh 93.
Saturday meet up time ? 10:30am ??? Any issues with that ?

OK, I just got off the phone with Susan and I'm booked for Friday and Sat. night. My brother sounds like he's gonna come with me so I'll pick him up Fri. in Alachua county on the way down. Looking forward to Fri. night now! For all the driving I'm doing it won't feel so much like "tag your it".

sounds good Matt, I have your number in my phone, and again, my arrival time depends on how early we get on the road, and also if we stop for a ride on the K on the way up, or just head straight there and hit the K on the way home.
