I am a pro backer but there are times when those rails help a lot. It is in places of flow like rivers and inlets with changing tides that they are great.

I'm sure they would be. I can tell you for a fact, the speedster 150 is a bear to get on the trailer on windy/high current days. Haven't encountered it much here, but in PA, the thing would get blown right over the fender trying to load up!

joe, if you don't like the bimini, sell it... or save it for your buyer... I actually liked having it on my challenger, it was nice to have shade in the summer for a lounge day on the boat.

I'm with Spim on this. They may look gay, but it sure nice to get shade at times during the summer here in Florida. You may not have that issue up in PA Dan.

I will never admit to you being right (but you are right) lol.. I'm sure it will be nice for just hanging out on hot days.

I know who he is
He went through ordeal and had to rebuild it twice.

Looks like he's trying to get some of it back in which he won't......

Here's the best line:

that's funny u noticed that, the other day, I saw a pretty legit looking (at least their magnetic sign was) marine service in my neighborhood that was repairing outboards in the back of a pickup

Never met him but was forum member.
Order top end from sbt, only to have RV gear go bad. Shop was charging him for carb cleanings and having him change oil ratios before figuring it out.
Hence two rebuilds
:cuss:
Only reason to fix it was to keep it.
Guess he wants boat now.

It is a boy, #2 :). I'm excited, think my wife is scared lol. Two boys and me, the perpetual teenager as she calls me haha...

I picked this one up for $1500, that was the asking price and he didn't seem too willing to budge and I wasn't going to complain either way! They were fairly honest when selling it, aside from not mentioning that they had already yanked the head to inspect the damage and just stuck with "I don't know what's wrong with it." lol I dont blame them though.. looks to just need a top end so far, going to dig into it more later.

Yeah, no shade here either. We always anchor up and set up umbrellas on the beach. The bim's are probably nice and I had contemplated one when I first got the boat but couldn't bring myself to drilling into the boat. Once we beach it I set up the umbrellas and get right back into the water. I suffer from R.B.S., restless body syndrome, self diagnosed. If I sit still for more than five minutes I'm bored, so if I'm not on the boat driving I'm swimming in the water with the kiddo's.

Those guide sticks would help me for sure, but I can't get past the looks of them. I put in right at the inlet which with the tidal flow is like a drain, couple that with a breeze and it really sucks. You can always tell the guys who don't frequent the inlet, they are the guys with one anchor. With how bad the current is you need to have one on the front and the rear of your boat, if not your boat will flip flop with the tide and whack another boat.

Here's where I put in most of the time. If you go to the top of the map you will see a bridge and to the right of it is the ramp. Then if you go towards the bottom of the map you'll see the sand and that is where we hit the beach. It's pretty narrow there so it's like a funnel. Wish I could embed the map so you wouldn't have to click out. My avatar is right there!

Only near the docks and bridges, other than that I'll cruise at 5-6K. I hit a few narrow ones with the Speedster, the grass is like 8 foot off the sides of the boat. Most places are really wide, but there is one "snake" that I take to ditch the No Wake Zone. I love riding back in there. If you zoom out I have ridden from Wildwood(south on the map) up to Ocean City where my parents place is. I did that on my 91 XP back in the day. Some of the canal are WFO only at high tide and you running in like 18-24" of water. Before you ask, no I don't have a depth finder on the Speedster and I've never hit bottom. You gotta watch water po-po though, they are tough some days.

If you zoom out and find Crooked Horn Creek(north on the map) there are two canals on the left, the 2nd one is the snake I use to cut out the no wake. If you follow it to the right it will take you up to Roosevelt Blvd(34th street bridge) No wake zone. You can see how narrow it is, and I roll the Speedster through it. It's only about 20' wide in places, the Speedster is roughly 8' so that gives me about 6' on either side maybe.

This Hydro Trailer is approx 10 years old and shows normal wear and tear. It does not include the hitch/bracket that mounts on your PWC to pull it and you will need one. It has not been used for many years and is sold as is.

I need that hydro trailer!!!!!

I'm with Spim on the winding waters thing. I would love to get you guys a pic of my "home track". It's the creek at the top of the lake. Let me see if I can figure it out.
