I am a pro backer but there are times when those rails help a lot. It is in places of flow like rivers and inlets with changing tides that they are great.

joe, if you don't like the bimini, sell it... or save it for your buyer... I actually liked having it on my challenger, it was nice to have shade in the summer for a lounge day on the boat.
I'm with Spim on this. They may look gay, but it sure nice to get shade at times during the summer here in Florida. You may not have that issue up in PA Dan.
I know who he is
He went through ordeal and had to rebuild it twice.
Looks like he's trying to get some of it back in which he won't......
Here's the best line:
"Complete rebuild by Professional Dealer here in Bradenton" ON A TAILGATE!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's where I put in most of the time. If you go to the top of the map you will see a bridge and to the right of it is the ramp. Then if you go towards the bottom of the map you'll see the sand and that is where we hit the beach. It's pretty narrow there so it's like a funnel. Wish I could embed the map so you wouldn't have to click out. My avatar is right there!

i'd like to hit some of those backwater twistie runs at about 55
are they all no wake zones back there ?
Only near the docks and bridges, other than that I'll cruise at 5-6K. I hit a few narrow ones with the Speedster, the grass is like 8 foot off the sides of the boat. Most places are really wide, but there is one "snake" that I take to ditch the No Wake Zone. I love riding back in there. If you zoom out I have ridden from Wildwood(south on the map) up to Ocean City where my parents place is. I did that on my 91 XP back in the day. Some of the canal are WFO only at high tide and you running in like 18-24" of water. Before you ask, no I don't have a depth finder on the Speedster and I've never hit bottom. You gotta watch water po-po though, they are tough some days.
