me? i'd run it till it nukes.... its not like your going to get more for the core on a trade in
Btw hes selling the 1997.5 model aka the grey and red one....still a good deal?
Yep, just finished up my current 96GSX as far as I'm gonna take it. My dad will be here over Thanksgiving and that will give him a "sled" to ride (Michigander). I like the fuel capacity and it's ability to handle the chop better (than X4's) in the bay. Still though I'll throw it up for sale right after the family leaves. I can only have so many "keepers".
Look at what ad mama got up today since I dumped those hulls: http://okaloosa.craigslist.org/boa/3407571731.html
Oscar- I will ship your parts out in the morning thanks.
if the crank bearing is bad u will need to disassemble the whole engine depending which bearing is bad will deter main what u will need to replaceI think im going to get the 97.5 gsx. The guy says that the crank bearing is bad and thats about all he could tell. Said it beeps twice when you put the key in. Anyone disagree on me buying and does this all sound like it needs a rebuild?
yup needs a rebuild when a seller says a little water it means a lot of water got into the engine seadoo 2 strokes are easy to rebuild look up the seadoo workshop manual here and it will walk u through the whole process step by step u will need a couple hundred dollars of tools u can either keep or on sell to recover cost thats if u dont already have the toolsJeez! now you guys are scaring me! Yeah I think it will need a new engine, he said a little water got into the crank...
