For the 01, absolutely- earlier ones you can't seem to give away! Even book on them is in the ~$1700 range. I looked into a few fixer uppers and by the time you do the motors and interiors, they just aren't worth it unless you damn near steal them!
Edit- just saw your other post about the price of the 95, we are on the same page there.
well, for the record, i had a 96 challenger, single engine 787 that sold for $4200 in may, right in sarasota. granted it took me 2 months to sell it, and it was tax time... but they still fetch a nice price. (new interior, rebuilt engine, hull was spotless)

For sale is a 1995 Sea Doo XP, professionally maintained, runs great and ready to ride. Everything works including all gauges and the VTS (electric trim). This ski has been professionally maintained, has been totally tuned up and is in excellent running condition. It has had the fuel tank cleaned out, all fuel lines and filters replaced brand new, new battery, new wear ring and pump oil, carbs cleaned out and rebuild kits installed, new seat cover and more.. too long of a drive for me, but 'might' be a winner, depending on how bad the engine is... but that's a pretty clean hull, definitely worth fixing up.
I got rid of two hulls today. Then I just called and offered this guy $500 on his answering machine for this. I'd strip the Doo and keep the trailer chunking both hulls in a e-bayer buddies yard for as much trade as I could muster out of him.

Pull the engine and you could probably section it off and haul about 20 gallons of gas in cans and pack the rest with ice and use it as a cooler as a trailer. Or just fill it with concrete and make it the boat anchor it truly is.

whats the go with no titles in the US?
96 GTI- I'm gonna pull the engine(silver SBT 717), pump, electronics, and large capacity fuel tank that I can upgrade my XP800 with.
Yami 1100- I'm gonna advertise it on CL and maybe a Yami forum.
I'm keeping the nice double trailer for my trouble :coolgleam:

Depends on the state, but usually it's pretty hard to get one unless you have a bill of sale from the last registered owner, which you almost never do.
Matt, I might be interested in the driveshaft and carbon ring bits from the gti to convert my 95 gtx from the seal carrier.
