I want to keep searching for deals, but there are so many I want to pick up, so i gotta clean the garage, and build a stand, so I can fit at least 1 more

Matt, yup name is Nam, I'm Viet though, so it's pretty common

And thanks Oscar, yea I saw harbor freight real reasonable price, I'm also eyeballing a used one on CL but I was hoping the toolman would have one pop out of his a$$ for me

Sorry but I neither make or sell tools. Oscar suggestion is best or you.
Think Tim Taylor TT so am I, TT + I had many power tools, so bowling buddies stuck that nickname on me and it stuck since the early 90's

do any of you guys get mold on your skis? i left mine untouched for about a month now in a garage, just opened under the hood and containers and there was fuzzy mold everywhere, like i mean everywhere!!!. on the connectors, on the plastic wraps, on the fuel baffle, pipes. just curious if that happens to any of you guys?

i did sponge out most of the water, before storing it, but I guess i need to kinda leave the seat off, or the hood open a lil

Looking to trade for a nice jet ski or Seadoo 96 or newer, won't mind doing minor repairs. Have pictures of trailer, but don't know how to attach to post. I live in Hernando CO. Florida Sean

wow, actual fuzz ? thats weird, sounds like you'll have mushroom's in about 3 weeks.
store the ski with the seat off, or at least tilted, and what I do is slip a used water bottle under the hood to leave it cracked, for air, but if you have fuzz.... shoot man i think you might need to bleach it out (not sure if thats good for the ski) then store it dry and watch it, maybe put one of those anti humidity tablets in the hull, i think they sell that at west marine... (i've read about those, never used them) but geeze man, i've bought skis that were neglectled and stored outside for 2 years and it was just little mold spots, never saw fuzz.

and ps.. after rides, i normally flush, rinse down, then wet vac the bottom of the hull to get the last 1/4 inch of water out.

i've searched around, it's probably the dark + no air flow, humidity is prob pretty high, we're right on the water, i'm gonna try keeping it with the seat off, and the hood tilted. might have to clean it with a light bleach, or disinfectant with plenty of water. before i left it in there, I did sponge out the remainder of the water, it's dry as a bone in there.

i would grab a 2" drywall knife (scraper) and remove the mold with it , then put some bleach in a spray bottle and mist the bottom of the hull............this will kill the mold and keep it from coming back.

yeah when i get done riding i usually pull the storage bin out, and set a fan on the front running on low overnight with the seats off.............dry as ever inside by morning then i close it all up.

This winter however ill dry it out after winterizing the cooling loop and fogging the motor, then probably drop a anti humidity tab in there, plus im gonna plug the vent holes and exhaust hole with shop rags, it will keep any rodents outta there.........they like nice dry places even if the ski does smell like gas lol.

then i just put the cover on it and im good to go lol. maybe a little ocd though.

the ad is gone now and the seller said it sold, but there was a 2005 3D that was "running when stored last year" and is a mechanic special for 1000 with trailer :drool5:

edit: pulled it up from my history
