Nice job! Looks great. I did new seat covers, hydro turf and removed the decals on mine last year so I know the work & $ involved.

yep i repainted the hood , i prepped it and painted it with automotive plastic spray paint , the stuff you buy at Sherwin Williams auto

and thanks everyone for the complements !

Looks really good! you going to put any graphics on the outside? and what radio did you go with? I like the location of your speakers it is just like how I have my setup, I added a remote and put it in the location of the driver cup holder so I could control the radio from the drivers seat. Just a thought for you too:cheers:

Redoing upholstery on one, too....

Bryan,

I'm redoing the upholstery on the exact same boat right now. Logged on to see if I could find a pattern for the seat backs of the backrest piece (yours are in white; ours are in yellow).... I can't find any patterns, so wish me luck on getting it cut & sewn right!!

I'll post some before and after pics once the parts are back in the customer's boat. I find it interesting that, in your before pictures, there are seams in the old yellow vinyl on the three-seats portion. Ours didn't have seams. I wonder if your 'before' was a redo and they didn't use 4-way stretch vinyl. Anyway, I'll post the pictures soon!

You did a really great job on this boat, by the way!

Tiffany

i used this set up off of ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-CDX-H905IP...ltDomain_0?hash=item45f1b15ceb#ht_6550wt_1165 but i used sony speakers ! and ssmedt i saw your layout and thats where i used it from but instead of the cup holder i went on the steering column just below and to the right of the gas gauge

And for Captain Duke's i dident use any template i just stared to cut and staple on fabric and the pulled like no other to get the waves out of it.

Those Hydro Turf mat kits really make those boats look good. I am re-doing my seat covers this winter. Where did you get the black bumper trim, and how hard of a uninstall/install?

hey.... so we can paint our consoles and trim on these? nice i wanna paint mine bright red and get my seats reupolstered. i hate the green on mine uugghh love the boat though

i just got the rub rail kit from west marine because they price match from internet websites so i got it for around 269.00. the install was not hard just a pain the in a$$ because of drilling out the rivets.l

yes i did get the hood painted

I have been thinking about using plasti dip to paint the hood as it would be reversible if I didn't like it. I would like to change my seat colors also.

Your Work is inspiring, and helping me to work through my concerns about buying a 95 Speedster, most of my friends and family think I am nuts, as I know nothing about jet boats, and well the one your working on looks awesome! your post clearly shows that you can fix these things up, which I am more than open to working on, and for 1/5th the price of a new one, I can have some fun with it as well.

Can you help to map out how you did the speakers...the 95 Speedsters have no Radios, and I love where you put yours and would love to get tunes on the boat, I have a brand new JBL marine radio / MP3 player sitting in the box ready to go....just have no idea where to start...sorry for the long post...Great work!
