So, I usually buy the 16 CLBs from Advance, and get 2-3 years out of them. $70 each.

This, is 1/2 the price, although the top connections look a bit off, I'd think it would work...

but I can't find a cranking amps. I like it being sealed, and like the 12 month vs. 3 months...

I don't want to open pandora's box here, the auto craft batteries have worked well for me, for many years... but 1/2 the price is 1/2 the price...

Here's some spiffy numbers:

even cheaper here

I just picked up a pair of T16L bats from Advance. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...vehicleIdSearch=-1&searchTerm=t16l&showTitle= Odd thing is that mine are 260CCA, and this site says they are 230. But even odder is that last year I bought the same battery online and they gave me a ETX16L with 325 CCA. But they don't show that battery on their website now. The one you listed does not seem to be an AGM battery. I got mine for 30% off with a coupon code. I hope the 260CCA is enough. It started the skis. Time will tell I guess. Autozone does sell the ETX16L with 325CCA for $89 with discount coupons available.. I should have done that... I put these in my skis without really even looking at the CCA numbers.

They say they offer free battery testing. Does that apply to these batteries..?

I could easily take them to be tested.

The advance around here just checks the voltage of the battery. Batteries+ will do a full load test on the battery though

For the $100 I'm just gonna buy new and be done with it, but back to the original issue... are these AGM ones at 1/2 the price viable?

The AGM battery is designed to supply a load for x time. In this case, 18ah = 18 amps for 1 hour, or 9 amps for 2 hours....

The battery we use in our skis requires an amount of CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) -> how many amps for a short period (ie spin the starter). I dont think the AGM battery above will work to start the ski, but it would work to play some tunes :)

I found a 30% off advance auto. TRT30 and use that to buy 2 of the old fashioned one.

Cold Cranking is just at a low temp, generally I prefer to jet ski when it's above 70 :)
