LOL Texas charges a fee on lead-acid batteries over 10Ah rating, $3 for 12v or more, $2 for less than 12v.

PGHMAN - its 68 plus the core charge, still better price than a neverstart from walmart.

I bought one of those last summer when I was trying to get my XP motor to start after the rebuild. If ever there was a torture test for a battery, that would have been it. lol I think I ended up getting it for right around $50, using the coupons and ordering online for store pickup. I'm getting another one in the spring for my '95.

I bought one of these chargers to maintain the battery in my basement and it seems to be doing good. I just checked the voltage the other day and it's perfect. The charger will slow charge and then automatically flip to the float mode and just maintain the battery.

Mine is new in the box too, haven't gotten more than 1 ski running yet to try it. Alos my Napa GS lead acid that came with my blown up GTI is still going strong 3 years later. Got to love the battery tenders.

you guys might look into battery mart.they have agm dekas for 72 bucks.i load tested all of mine and they usually test around 500 amps. 2 of them in 951 skis have lasted 3 years now.
oh ya,,and they will usually give you 12 buks for used car batteries,a buck for old ski batteries.

is that 500 cca? my extreme power agm is rated at 325cca and load tested around 600cca which i thought was odd??
whats up with that?

jammin,,yep 500cca,,actually ,a bit over.they were made for harleys,which is how i found them.

was it rated 325 cca but tested over 500 cca? why is that? as i said mine rated 325 cca but tested around 600cca which confused me. the tester we have at work seems pretty reliable on car batteries but a smaller power sport agm battery at 600cca?

yep,,was rated at 325,,,i tested them at work with the micro,and the gr8,,,all tested above 500,,strange huh

heads up, i saw on lowes web page that they deal with deka agm batteries for 89.95. not sure if they have them in store or not.
