98xp limited carb. 1/4 hose?

I accidently cut one of the 1/4 inch hoses on the carb and it was leaking fuel. Is this a fuel or air line? I'm not sure if I put the carb back together wrong and can't find anything about the lines in the manual. Thanks in advance

The parts diagram may help but unfortunately with a parts diagram it's more about locating the parts than the actual routing. Can you post a picture of the line or lines your asking about?

This small hose. I thought it was pneumatic but it had fuel in it.

O.K., that's the line for the accelerator pump, I've got a picture for a set of carbs. for a 787, yours should be similar. I'm not sure about the actual size of the hose, I think it's smaller than 1/4", take that piece of hose to a lawn mower shop, maybe ACE Hardware and see if they have the correct size.

Thanks! I got some fuel rating line from O'Riley's it looks very slightly smaller. Do you think I will still run fine or should I match it exactly?

That will be fine, the fuel line is measured in mm so if it's close it's O.K.
