whats the best helmet/goggles to go with?
Thanks for the info. Not sure what I'm going to do.I've got a Fly carbon helmet that I like. It's not too heavy when wet. A lot of guys use BMX helmets. I use a pair of old snow boarding goggles but I really need to get better ones
get it 9n before you screw on the black top piece
Are you keeping the oil tank or just looping a line for the RV cavity? If keeping the tank then yes I'd just block off the line close to the tank.
Others have used a small external tank (sort of like the brake fluid on a motorcycle to loop the RV line)
I'm keeping the pump. Just cleaned it all up last weekend and ready for paint. I have 1 premix ski and I hate it.I think im going to keep the tank. Just encase I go back to stock. Whats you plans with yours?

If I go with the buckshot 44's the manifold is already tapped for oil injection. If I go with the Novi 44's I need to tap and install the oil injection for that mani.yea, i have to go premix with my manifold. I'm not using the stock one. In a way it doesnt bother me because I got a feeling im not going to be able to use pump gas when its all said and done. what are you using for yours?

Well I had an idea when I was looking at docs x4 951. I only had $40 in the sponsons but took a good 6hrs. I thought since I didn't make a backing plate I might as well take the time and make them now. I can also put my black beach house sponsons that i made on my base plate to if I don't want to run the aluminum ones or if I did race it and people didn't like it.
Do you guys think I should put a lock washer on my 3 bolts holding the sponsons on? ( I put lockouts on the inside with backing plate.
Is that paint? Holy shit Ive never seen chrome paint come out that good!
Holy crap Scott you cut some aluminum ones! Sick!!!
My R&D tabs didn't polish up that well. Bottom was ok, but the tops with with all the rough surfaces didn't do so well. Thanks man, it was worth the time, I love the look thats for sure. I might have to mill some trim tabs next to match if i cant get the r and d ones how i like them.
