Lol, you can exclude me from that group. I'm pissed over this dang el Nino. It's putting a major dampening on my snowboarding. We just went Thursday night for opening night. I'm $750 into season passes for me and my son. I need 5 full days each to break even. We have 1.5 hours in so far.

Well got some more done this weekend. Got the ski flipped back over and all the stickers off it along with the mads, filled the holes from the mats and sanded them. Used scuff and clean over the whole ski. Had some spots I had to fix, so I got some duraglas. Another thing I started to work on was the hood. It had a Crack in it so I had to get the plastic welder out and then did some sanding. I end up getting it in some primer so next step is to block sand.

I'm going more purple on our 97. Wish it was gutted to paint the bottom tho.

I like the blacktip purple cover but with the dollar as shit as it is right now, it will wait.
 
I'm trying purple 'blaze' plasti-dip on the seat vents and grab handle right now... I didn't spray a white 'primer' first, I think having the black underneath will help get the darker colour to match the hood. Shoulda grabbed a GSXL fuel knob and bezel from Nick... DOH. Was toying with changing the bumper 'inserts' to GSXL inserts too... We'll see.. Wish the bottom was white... I'd do a 95 SPi replica ;)
 
Thanks for posting that I was considering purple for my hood as well. I may stick with black or yellow though since I'm not painting the bottom.

I may need to pull the purple inserts off my HX and see what it looks like. I know I saw someone's 96xp with all purple bumpers and it looked good.
