Its probably better to do it at the car wash than your house because the car washes (at least around here) recycle a lot of water and have grease traps to catch oil on the way out.

Well I got a lot of work done over the past few days. I have a problem though. As you know this ski was a big turd when I found it. Most people would of junked it. Well when I was putting in the gas tank I went to install the fill hose and the dang thing looks like crap and is hard as a rock. Am I best to get one used ? I cant get them new or any other ideas you guys have?

I'm sure I've got a few but they all get pretty stiff.

wipe new on all the parts.parts sand blasted and painted hull cut for umiumi installed. bilge pump switch installedhood with just color on it. Cleared it last night but need to get a pic of it.trim installed, and hit the hull again

Yea some crazy guy that loves seadoos decided to play Picasso so I said what the heck that looks fantastic lol

ok I need some info, I have the rub rails installed but not at the nose of the ski. I was waiting for the splash guard to come in. I have used wipe new 2 times on them and yes they are back but not shinny. its like they are so sun baked. Maybe i should of painted them? any ideas?

Yeah he uses kleen-strip brand laquer thinner. I used it on several skis and it works very well. I've actually not even had to use the wipe new.

Home depot. Not sure who else carries it. If you already did wipe new I'm not sure how it will work though.
