those are the oil injection lines. whats happening is your starving the engine of oil and it is locking up. u should really look into a complete rebuild because you crank cant be in good shape after running it with no oil. fyi those little oil lines should be changed every couple of years to...

I had the exhaust head pipe separate from the exhaust manifold this season. The problem is it sprays water everywhere and allows water to enter the engine. I was able to make a new gasket that night then run the engine to get the water out. Being that u waited 10 days with saltwater it might be...

A crank bearing did the same thing on my 720 out of my hx. The spacer in the bearing then took out the crank seal

the biggest thing i had this year after my full rebuild was just keeping up with tightening and checking nuts and bolts.

there are many companies that offer motors. sbt, ses, pwc engine, just to name a few, most will run in the $800-1000 range. they will include all the new gaskets needed to install the new engine.

2500 is insane for a new motor. you could just do a top end but the best way to do it would be to replace the motor for a rebuilt one with a 2 year warranty. you need to find out what caused the motor to lose compression. do u still have gray fuel lines on it? its not to hard to replace a motor...
