I tell you, that was the only Seadoo I regretted selling but for long trips/cruises it was pretty tough on the body in a squall or waves. I transitioned to a 3 seater for comfort and gave up the fun. Sucks getting older and feeling bumps and bruises!

I think you need to try a 98-2004 XP. Just as fast but much smoother in rough water.

I actually had a 98 XP for a brief time. Went very fast but I felt like I was riding too high. Just wasn't my cup of tea - as I said age kind of killed that desire in the end...

I want to add more foam to my seats and get custom covers. Need more padding for my old buttocks. Lake Erie can give you big water and great air. But it wears on my rear after a while.

I appreciate the fact he took so much time and cleaned the machine and inside so thoroughly.

It's important to make a good first impression.

Was gonna say, that's pretty on point. Stand ups are expensive! I need to sell my 97 787 spx, but they're not really moving, even at $850 with trailer

That's one way you can store a trailer.

For an actual RXX with new parts ready to go back together the price sounds fair to me. If it was close I would strongly consider it for myself.

I would not be using the WSM pistons and SBT crank though. I doubt either would survive very long in the RXX.

You do have a very good point. I see people on this forum getting 1995 XP800's for next to nothing in decent shape and they are also super rare. I don't know much about the newer ski's. But to think about it again I just sold my mint 1994 XP without trailer last night for $750.00 I did give the guy my wood shop cart I made because he picked it up with a landscaping trailer. There is a nice (from pictures) looking 1996 XP listed without trailer for $1800.00 but I'm thinking $1500.00 if it is mint? Is that about right?

I wouldn't consider anything but a crank from crankworks or an oem crank for an rxx. Wouldn't put wsm or sbt piston in either. You would have a tough time getting it all back together if its a basket case. I've taken mine apart so much i can do it blindfolded

The 95' XP is somewhat rare but it is for the most part a 96' XP. and they made thousands of those. The RXX is a whole different beast.

I have a good running 97 spx with a bilge pump and nujet prop. Good wear ring and tuned properly. I'll take 900 without trailer. 1200 with single trailer prefect for this size ski. Only issue is the oil reservoir leaked over winter, but I plan on fixing that.

I wish I was closer to you I would buy it! I'm looking for a X4 800. (but now even looking at GSX 800's due to not much for sale right now) The same thing happened in my 94 XP this winter. It was perfectly cleaned and winterized, then I uncovered it had a bunch of oil in it. I cleaned it up a little and told the guy that purchased it that he will need to fix that. He didn't seem to care so that was alright with me.

It is clean but without a trailer I'd say $1500 tops. That's tax included and with a water test that leaves you with a permanent smile. I can't see if the grey fuel lines have been changed or if it got a wear ring, etc.

In the engine pictures you can see the grey fuel lines from the carb. I can't believe a shop would leave them, then again it is probably a quick flip for them.
