Well it is a race ski so he is probably just practicing his beach starts.

All you haterz out there, just don't realize just how wicked this ski is, that's all. But he's tryin' buy a house, and needs that 700 bucks.

-- probably not a terrible deal, looks like it's in decent shape.

I bet the $100 boat and the $700 race ski put together would be fun, and you wind up with a trailer for the boat. Probably faster too

My buddy put a720 in one of those, said it was crazy. That hull has no stakes and gets all crazy at speed. Wish i could have tried it... this was my first ski btw, and i doubt it can be fast

What??!?! My 90 has been fast since 1994 when it got a 657X with a APE pipe and 44mm Mikuni's. I've built it many ways since including with 717's. With the Early GTX sponsons it's one of the best handling boats on the buoys.

I'd love to ride it some day. That 657X has about 80hp. Pretty good for that hull. Were the GTX sponsons scooped like the OE x4 or were they more like fins like beachouse?

That is pretty funny. So they are 800cc, supercharged, GTX's and will do 70mph? Funny because they look like GSX 951's. I love Craigslist.

I would love to call and offer $5k if he can prove any of it.

Well I had one and I had it (seadoo speedo mind you) at 66 and I was 215 at the time. I still had throttle left too but it was getting a little wobbly so I shut it down.

I've had many many seadoos and that one was by far the wildest. So light for that much power.

Those are 61 mph skis regardless of what the spedo says and are not 800cc or supercharged.

You gotta wonder if they are stoopid or trying to pull a fast one on some one, the ad seems pretty genuine, the steelership could have told him all thst crap :willy_nilly:
At least the 2 stroke part is right

I never said anything about the fact it wasn't an "800" or being supercharged. I was relating
what it did for me on my machine in terms of speed and I did mention it was the Seadoo speedo. If that speedo was anywhere near a routine + - it was still over 61 with a heavy
rider. This number of 66 was achieved more than a few times and limited by my logic to slow down
and not ideal conditions.

Drop a rider about 30-40 lbs less and it would have hit 70 on the speedo easily - on my
machine.

Ok I understand what you are saying now. Yes the Seadoo speedometers are notoriously optimistic. Some refer to them as Dream o meters. The actual radar and gps confirmed top speed on one of these stock is 61mph. They and the XP of that year were tied for the highest top speed of a stock ski that year.
