A braking system would be cool. The drop bucket/gate of manual old school was nice, it would stop the ski then you could get right back on the throttle.
When I rode the RXP_X260, I was beyond disappointed that it wasn't like car brakes... if you hit the brake, it was like 30 minutes before you could hit the throttle and GO.
I wanted to be able to hit the brakes for the corners and power out of them.
it may have been closer to 20 seconds, but whatever, it was TOO long.
if you do brakes, they'd have to be variable to the cable pull/push. they'd have to be fast, and they'd have to pull back fast.
so 2 small drop arms on both sides that use springs to pull UP and out of the water. then when you pull your left hand brake in or finger throttle assembly on the left hand, it pulls the arms DOWN. when you release, they instantly go UP and out of the water.
